The Aspect of Twilight is essentially the equivalent of Loki. Zoe is the eternal trickster who fucks with the world for her own amusement and nothing else. Essentially, a sociopath with godly power. So yeah, Atreus is very wary of her.

Pantheon is... my new favorite league character. He’s the good of humanity personified, twisted a bit with his own flaws, but still good. He encourages even his enemies to press forward, saying he’ll “shout their names to the heavens”. He respects his opponents for standing up to him, but knows he must go through them. I like this character
The CookieMeister hes not the good of humanity, he is the shield of humanity. Gods, darkin, and void brought humans into their own war despite the humans not having anything to do with it. Atreus is the one who fight for them.

@@nobodylol6494 they didnt betray the darkin, the ascended brought it upon themselves to use this power which means ts their responsibility to use it for good but even then, the targonians are the ones who gave shurima the power to ascend so they could combat the void. Azir, an ascended, was the reason why people had to resort to use the void to defend their kingdom from azir's tyranny. So all the problems humankind were forced to endure always come back to the targonians and the void.
I appreciate how Pantheon understands that Aatrox is actually suffering and not just purely an evil being.

@@baguette_main1259 I don't think it ever will get old. It's good because you can create a connection between the small number of characters and the viewer, and THEN you can pull it off. The reason that cinematic sucked is because it was like a 5v1 or something and I didn't know half of the lore present, a smaller cinematic focusing on the two would be able to develop that connection and then get into it. But yeah, my point still stands. We got the wrong cinematic.

He actually sounds very heroic and noble, unlike the narcissistic, arrogant sociopaths most champions tend to be, feels refreshing to have someone with a heroic personality. I love this rework!
Because he revels in his own mortality. Quite ironic since others sought divinity as a way to trascend humanity. To see a god who prides himself in it? Refreshing, in a spartan kind of way.

@@Geheimnis-c2e I believe it's even deeper than that. He says 'cries of humanity' and not a single human. A darkin's final words could be interpreted as what they leave behind after they (temporarily) die. Probably will happen after a lot carnage and so, when a darkin dies, what's left are still the cries of humanity of the devastation.
I think this is more probable since Pantheon himself died to a Aatrox. He knows what is at risk if he lets them win. That's why he always comes back.

Leona it´s not under aspect´s control. The only one who didn´t have control was Atreus because Pantheon didn´t sonsider him worthy, the rest of the aspects give control to the people they choose.

Rework Team: How manly do you want Pantheon to be?
Execs: *Yes.*
This dude used to be a normal guy in the game until he finally passed puberty. He finally had something that made him stick out of the rest.
For me this is by far Riot's most epic rework/update - both in the scale and the feel. Pantheon really seems to fill his power fantasy now like Morde does, and he has a clear vision for his concept and design; everything about this update has me excited. From the amazing music to the incredible voice acting to Pantheons animations and personality - it all just works so damned well and I'm incredibly excited to play Pantheon again in a way I haven't been for a long time.
Totally agree with the Panth stuff. I just believe Warwick was done just as well before, but doesn't get the love he deserves. He truly feels like this werewolf like monster who chases you. Especially with his W passive where as an enemy you hear the sound.
Sadly popularity is linked to how much burst damage can be done most of the time. But god damn doesn't it feel amazing to run from fountain at 20+ min to a starting teamfight and being able to pick of the remaining survivors with a jumpscare.
too bad people will insta ban him for at least a month so the only place you can play him is with bots lol

When a Spartan would go to a war , his mother would give him a shield and would say "ἢ τὰν ἢ ἐπὶ τᾶς".
This , in greek , means :"You will either return with your shield (victorious) , or you will return on your shield (they will carry your corpse).
So , a character named Atreus (Pantheon's name) saying this line is really badass.
It shows such respect to folks like Braum.
Every ranked i usually return on the shield.
It all makes sense when Braum dies he shield is on top of him as if he were saying carry my body to my mother

So it's like saying current pantheon is atreus and he's sorry for being weak. Kratos says to be better and thus atreus becomes the reworked pantheon.

Nasus is the most neutral Shurmian Ascended because he’s the only non-crazy one left. He was born a human but had lived thousands of years and seen the fall of his empire and the death/mental decay of his friends. Bard and Soraka are literal gods (in the lore of LoL) who have given up their immortality to interact with mortals and live alongside them.

I'm pretty sure he means that the Darkin are sealed in their weapons and so must possess whoever holds it, which is why he calls them parasites. When Pantheon kills a Darkin the "final words" are of the human host that he had to kill.

More like humanity as a whole because (as he stated with nasus) the Ascended are those who tried to be gods but became their pets instead, then when the darkin war happened their hatred became even stronger after "being betrayed" by the twilight (iirc it was also the aspects that showed shurima how to make Ascended, the same source that told the humans the secret to seal the Darkin on their own) well the Darkin themselves are definitely not off the hook, but it's not all there is to the story

This, Aatrox, and Swain are my favorite voice lines. Yes, Aatrox has a bit of trash talk, but it actually speaks much about his character. Swain’s speaks volumes about how he views his task, and Atreus’ shows how he views getting possessed by the Aspect.
