Even though we have very different opinions on many topics, I always though your argument had some merit. The last few video just don't have the same ingegraty.

Not specifying what kind of 3D printing makes this video missing the mark, badly. I got burnt skin while ago from resin splashing just above the glove. It hurts. People wear protective equipment when dealing with powders for sintering. So, yeah.
Just let go of Nero's apron finally.

I might surprise you, 3D printing can be harmful. ABS and even PLA emit some dose of VOC during the printing process. In higher doses, (ABS is worsened than PLA), fumes are toxic. A solution to this problem is proper ventilation, or just having a printer in a remote area.
I’m not sure about this suit. I built one as it’s open source and while it is comfortable at first it’s problems immediately become apparent
first of all, the soldering iron and snips are badly placed. I am now the new owner of a singed nip and a nip piercing.
May be useful for some individuals but not me.
Secondly the build quality is shotty.
I usually do a quick 24 hour zen workout to break in my full body suits and it did not hold up.
This may be an unintentional feature though as I now get a lovely breeze on my backside and going to the bathroom is much more convenient.
Overall I give this a 4 out of 5 stars. Would 3D PPPEP again!

If you had a roll up veil, it could be dual purpose, use it for bee keeping. Slightly different tools, however, but the scraper would do.

I had to watch it more than once. Could not stop laughing and giggling the entire time. It made my wife come over and ask what I was doing. She unfortunately did not have the same response. I definitely saved it to my watch list to enjoy often at least until the wrong people are offended and RUclips makes you take it down. Keep up the good work.

You need a device to change background music and bob your head while you pucker your lips and print benchies. Also a pez dispenser for the brass heat inserts.
Guys who mock precautions often appear as comic relief in the safety videos I've had to watch for work. It doesn't end well for them. Be careful.
If you think an FDM 3D printer is dangerous then I'll bet you still use those blunt-nose children's safety scissors. Online safety not-zees always have one thing in common: They are too afraid to live life and feel week and powerless because of it. Advocating for safety makes them feel important. They think it's a guaranteed win and validates their fears and reclaims their pride. Stop being afraid of stupid things like 3D printers. Go live your life. You may find a sense of humor while you are at it.
@@DesignPrototypeTest I'm not afraid of printers. I have 3. But Super Lube makes my hands turn bright red for 2 days, so I wear gloves. And ABS makes my throat sore, so I open a window and close the door. Not taking easy precautions when something is clearly unhealthy is stupid. Mocking people for taking precautions... lets just say you don't want to be that guy.
And what do any of these issues have to do with Aprons or painter suits? There's dangers involved in literally everything having to do with life. There's a whole franchise of movies built upon this premise: Final Destination. All you did was come up with a bunch of hypotheticals. I've burned myself on 300° hotends and I've shocked myself with 120v AC while working on printers. I'm still here. You know what almost killed me? A quick trip in the car. I was in the hospital for 10 days in a wheelchair for 2 weeks and on crutches for 4 months. If you want to put your hypervigilance of potential dangers to good use you should consult the statistics and focus on the things that are proven to be the most damaging/deadly when you go online advocating for safety. I promise you with every fiber of my being FTM 3D printers are way down the list. Your range for cooking is more dangerous. Particulates from cooking are just as damaging and the red hot heating elements will bring you far worse.
It's like I said in the last comment: it's not about the safety issue. That's not why you're leaving comments. You just want to be right and you want me to be wrong so that you can feel better about yourself. It's an ego then, and that's ugly.

Of course you were hyperbolic in suggesting that people wear a bunny suit. But nobody does that so clearly you are suggesting that the safety precautions people *are* taking aren't necessary.

It makes my head hurt even typing that, but the evidence shows that is DPT's headspace 24/7.
you are right: 3DP can be dangerous. Chemical sensitivity like you experience is a real thing. Also , poorly built printers (such as A8 or creality) can definitely be a fire hazard. But don't tell DPT, he just wants to get people to watch his videos.

A neighbor bought two and didn't care enough to build the second one so it sat in his basement for a year or more before he gave it to me so I could make a few videos. I don't use it except to make videos and I may have to return it. We haven't figured that out yet. I didn't buy it, but neither did Prusa send it to me.

What could I possibly be sued for? Especially for this video which is clearly satire. I've done nothing wrong. If you want to talk about reputation damage Prusa's agents have done far worse to me and far more viscously than I've done to Prusa.
