To be fair, the G3 is a copy of CETME, which is Spanish. But Spain recruited German engineers escaping from Germany and continued their work in Spain.

Actually it is not an excellent rifle. When the weather is too cold or too hot g3 always stops working. In my country Turkish forces used this gun for approximately 40 years and a lot of solider died because of this gun. Now we are producing our guns(MPT-55 and MPT-76).

I learned how to operate a G3 (G3A3) in the Greek Army, during my service, which is mandatory for every Greek male adult and I can say that the most realistic and accurate of all is the "PROJECT REALITY". Not only the way it is armed and fired is accurate, but also the way the magazine is inserted, in an angled and twisted way. Try to put a magazine in a G3 straight up and if you are successful I will buy you a beer. The "BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE" is accurate too.
The aiming is kinda realistic on medal of honor 2010
Project reality is a game that loosely replicates realistic military conflict so it's no surprise that it will somehow get the reloads right to some extent

@@rafael5277 yes it is, it wears out the part were the handle is kept back, when slapping it, just like open bolt safety locks, it could cause wear to it and eventually make it impossible to lock the bolt back
Battlefield Hardline actually has 2 versions of the G3: the HK51 (which was included in the video), and the semiautomatic civillian PTR-91

The G3A3 has to be one of the most reliable rifles I ever shot, it is easy to dismantle, clean and most importantly shoot, the recoil is controlable, really there are almost no cons to that rifle.

It’s heavy and it is difficult to reload compared to other guns of the same type like the scar

@@MagnumLoadedTractor claw mount. Not to mention you can get rails mounted to the reciever. Also with a .308 you don't want a high rof or you end up with the problem of the m14, a completely useless full auto mode for most people.

PTR is an American company who makes HK 91 based on the original blueprints.
PTR-91 in BFH is MSG-90

I really don't get why so many games made the charging handle on G3s and MP5s reciprocate while firing when in real life it doesn't do that!
Its not only thing many game developers get wrong. Some do not understand how powerful nato 7.62 is and either copy 5.56 stats for it or ak and both are weaker by big margin to it. (tho rifles are far too weak in many games even 5.56 is far too weak in many of them)
Also you can see 30 round capacity in lots of these...some like L4D2 have a balancing reason for it but rainbow six is just dumb by having it with such

I don't think any of these games got the charging handle right. MOH 2010 was the funniest. Lock it back, and it magically unlocked itself and slowly crept forward.
I largely prefer the Project Reality incarnation. It doesn't suffer from misalligned sights, the audio is quite powerful, the slap just feels perfect ... and in top of all, you can actually fit the HK79 grenade launcher alongside other optics using the claw mount.
What also makes it stands out is if you play as the insurgents, your character won't do the HK slap, reflecting their lack of training.

1) I don't remember some of these games looking so bad now that its 2021 haha
2) This gun was insane in BF3, had to do co-op missions to get it so not many guys used it, but it was a two shot kill, sometimes 1 in hardcore and on semi auto is was stupid accurate, I'd just run around double tapping everyone with it, had over 12,000 kills in BF3 with that rifle

its heavy, kicks hard but hits hard and is very reliable. got to love some of those cold war era battle rifles.
In far cry 2 and moh warfighter they made an exact model of G3A3. I know because this is our weapon when we attend the army here in Greece.

The recoil of fully autonomic 308. Like the g3 would have you aiming at a 60 degree angle by the 3rd shot to those who haven’t fired it in real life yet
The g3's recoil is pretty heavy, however from personal experience the g3 aint so bad, it shoots pretty slowly in full auto so its not like an m14 or a fal which are borderline uncontrolable, still, not too pleasent to shoot

What is weird is that the magazine of G3 is a type of rock and lock design just like an Ak47. It seems like only Project Reality did that right.

my favorite has to be the one from Medal of Honor (multiplayer), or the one from Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Idk why, but DICE's animations in the 2010 era are just so satisfying, and the sounds are ear candy.

I’d like to see a .22 lever action. It’s a classic but its pretty nice. good recoil, good power, clean reload I shot my dads 22 and it’s really nice. damn I repeated some crap to many times
Sorry to break it to you bud but .22 LR is a very small, unreliable and weak cartridge, its fun to shoot but it is most definately not very powerful, i would love to see a lever action rifle chambered in 45-70 which is a pretty large cartridge, or chambered in .410 which is basically mini 12 gauge

LMFAOO its halarious how this guns got no recoil in games like a 556. I've shot one before and on full auto 2 shots is enough to make you take a step back slightly.
Winners in my opinion:
Battlefield 3, COD: MW Remastered, MOH: Warfighter, Payday 2, Six Vegas 2, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor 2010, Zula, Raven Shield, Battlefield Hardline, and Six Vegas.

Oh man, the games with the correct iron sights don't use em properly. Like in battlefield 3's case, the top of the front post ironsight (Or maybe it's the middle of it) should be in line with the notch in the rear Aperture iron sights, not trying to line up with the protective ears on the rotating drum. It seems Medal of Honor 2010 (SP) has the relation of front ironsight to rear notch positioning the closest. Though it does still look slightly off.

The greatese GPMG out there is the MG-42 Family:high rate of fire ,powerful ammo and its firing sound might hurt your enemies ears....
It's actually the PK. The MG42 is to immobile for general use and so is the FN MAG. They're also more complex and expensive.
The PK is the only "GPMG" that can be effectively carried and used by one person. They're also a lot more reliable, simpler and cheaper compared to other guns.

The M240B currently is serving in the US army as a GPMG / Portable support weapon.
You go ahead and carry an MG42/MG3 as if it were a rifle then come and tell me how "portable" it was. Same goes with the MAG. They're far too cumbersome.
With the PK, they're small and light enough to be effectively fired from the shoulder while standing. You can carry it around without any problems and they're used much like how an FN Minimi is used.
If you want to know about US doctrine. The M240 isn't a "portable support weapon" it is actually a "crew served machine gun" primarily deployed in a fixed position either on a tripod or on a vehicle.
