Ha! I definitely remember Days of the New... my friend loved them (at the time)... There is a vinyl box set of Dream Theater coming out soon also... the first 5 albums I think? I have one album from Tangerine Dream (Force Majeure)... not my bag, but got it free from my uncle... :) Next month for me is Maiden! Glad you had a "wow" time! :)
Not long Dan to your Maiden show. It was fun talking to other metal fans from different places at the concert. A metal Army, i did think it was unpopular in this country as don't know many that like this music. Have not had time yet to sit down to listen to that music i picked up yet , but will soon. The Maiden Merch is very costly by the way. Yes as I said in my " Detailed " 🤣review " WOW".
Hi Keith! One word to describe the concert "Wow!" kind of sums up your experience. I've never seen Iron Maiden but have watched plenty of live clips right here on RUclips over the years and they always look so exciting. Bruce Dickinson is a real pro for sure! I remember the band name Days Of The New from years ago but couldn't name one song. I have that Stranglers album. Nice!
Hi Mike. the latest Iron Maiden album translates well in concert. Longer intros and dramatic moments, as well as a killer guitar attack. Bruce has had some health problems but you would not know it as he leaps and runs around the stage. He sounded very good to my ears, anyway i could go on. Loved It!. Gonna give that " Stranglers " album a spin today. Cheers Mike✌
It was worth the wait!. the last time they were here was about 2016-17. And it was the full stage production this time, so pretty special. I will try some more Dream Theater, but if the songs go on for 20-30 minutes i'm out. Thanks for watching Tony mate🤘
I'm glad you got to see Iron Maiden. Last year was my first time and it was awesome. They were always one of those bands that I would say "I'll see them next time" so I'm glad I finally made the effort. Awesome Dream Theater pickup. It was always pretty high up on my live concert list to see Maiden before their retirement. And they did not dissapoint, also there was Killswitch who i know you appreciate. I listened to some of their songs beforehand ( Killswitch) and they played a good heavy about an hour set. I have one Dream Theater album so i thought i would pick up some of their classic albums with that album set. Cheers Scott.
Great to hear you are getting the kids into metal and took the family with you, I'd have probably skipped the exam to go myself 😅 I'd expect a "wow" experience seeing Maiden or I'd want a refund 😂 Jokes aside Maiden always seems to deliver live and it's a good day out for all ages.
