    My former junior school teacher must take a lot of credit for videos like this. He loved Northumberland and wisely knew it's potential for tourism.
    His name was Edwin (an old fabled name) Greaves. He made many videos, they must still be around, I bought some of them, what a great man...!

    Very well done video. I absolutely loved my visits to Northumberland when I was stationed in East Anglia during the 80's & 90's.

    The Harbour is Craster,to the left of the slipway are smoking sheds where the famous "Craster" Kippers are made!!!

      It looks like Craster, just south of Dunstanburgh Castle on the East Coast :)

      Yes Craster, you can see Mr Robsons smoke houses to the left where the famous kippers are smoked. He supplies Waitrose & a lot of other famous shops including Harrods.

    Very interesting . the only thing spoiling this lovely county are noisy ignorant tourists who leave rubbish and let dogs run amoke

    Like much of Scotland, Northumberland looks like an unappealing grassy wasteland that was deforested a long time ago. Hopefully they start planting trees again so the region can get some of its forests back. I'm sure the region looked far more beautiful 2,000 years ago when it still was mostly forested.
