You find the average of the means, then you find the squared difference of the means (between the mean of single row/column and the total row/column), you add em all up and divide by n-1 (this is used for sample variance).
I really like how you started, especially how you grouped the factors and their levels with a realistic example. However, you jumped too many steps. Remember there are different ways to achieve the same results, some don’t even find no variance until they need the F ratios. Maybe this is a continuation of a previous video with all details. In that case, I apologize for my criticism.
how did you get tha variance of rows and column
You find the average of the means, then you find the squared difference of the means (between the mean of single row/column and the total row/column), you add em all up and divide by n-1 (this is used for sample variance).
(14.333 + 21.333 + 11.666 + 12.666)/4 = Mean of Total
[(14.333 - MoT)^2 + (21.333 - MoT)^2 + (11.666 - MoT)^2 + (12.666 - MoT)^2] / n-1
= 19.03
@@notdesmondesmond THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you.. love from India 💛
Thank you so much! From Ireland, University of Limerick!
how to get varince
How did you calculate the variance
But how to find the variance formulary please😓
how u find the variances of the row and the column

How do we determine which factor will be the A and which the B?
The row is seen as the treatmeant
And column is seen as the block
Any notation can be used...
But you just have to know your column and your row
How did you get 238 without calculator and also 42.17 I need concrete answers. Please!
good teacher keep it up
tnx!!
do you take the individual F values and compare them one by one to F crit? or do you somehow combine them as in the one way anova?
You take the different F values and compare them to different F crit that you will find with the different degrees of freedom
How did you get value 238??
hi can we solve this question with taguchi method?
what is the formula to calculate the variance?
find the average for each row
substract each value from the row average
sum all the substracts
divide by (n-1)
here u go... 19.038
Cureshooter .Cureshod i cant understand that could you show me how !
@@cureshot subsract each value from the row average? what thats suppose to mean?
Was enjoying the video until you got the variance without showing how you got it, which is so annoying Sir.
And am failing to get the varience...he shud show us how he got the varience ...so annoying
Quite confusing with the formulas you're using and you didn't show each and every method on how you get that.
varience formula plzz
sorry to say, this was such a poor presentation. or else it was not meant for people with my IQ level.
you're correct sir. His formula is rather confusing to be honest.
Very confusing and he wasn't showing all workings ...just writing answers and a lot of oops ...haa poor presentation
