Make sure your battery is in correctly. I just tried an experiment with mine and it will light with no battery in it and only the charger plugged in. So there might be a polarity issue or a battery connection issue. Hope that helps.
I took out the battery and plugged the flashlight into the charger, but it does not work. I lost the original battery 4 months ago. Should I buy a new battery? @@MrPhil1969
