It was a last minute, hasty road trip, but we had some big success! Join me for today's 575 Acre Missouri farm road trip and updates as I take another load of our stuff and equipment from Southern Illinois over to our new 575 acre Southern Missouri farm.
This home has TWO complete Geothermal heat pump units and one of them is not working! The home is large enough that it needed TWO of the Geothermal heat pump units to effective heat and cool the home. So I was able to get 3 appointments scheduled for the next morning; The Alarm company, the Geothermal AC repair tech and the power company/high speed fiber optic contractor to see about getting high speed fiber optic internet line brought in to the home! Our Missouri home has a driveway that is over a mile long and they plan on trenching/burying the high speed fiber optic line next week! Thanks for joining me today, if you are new to the channel here is some background on our channel and our new Missouri home and land:
Was this Divine Intervention? While many may not believe, I do keep the faith when it comes to living this life and putting certain priorities above others. Join me for today's episode #1 of our new life, land and Ozarks Missouri adventures! Recently we bought a 575 acre Southern Missouri farm in the Ozarks and today will be our first moving trip, our first road trip after legally owning the new 575 acre Missouri farm, and all of the adventures that go along with it. Join us for today's episode as I begin our moving process from Southern Illinois over to Southern Missouri. Today I'll tackle some of the challenges associated with equipment hauling over such a long distance. In this episode I'll be hauling my KIOTI RX7320 powershuttle cab tractor, my home made chisel disc plow and some other equipment on my equipment trailer. Oh, and I almost had a near disasterous collision in the St. Louis area as a car literally broke down only a few cars ahead of me, so while cruising at 65 mph there was a completely stopped car right in front of me and I had nowhere to go in either lane, left or right of me, so I locked up all of the brakes on my Ford F250 and the equipment trailer, and fortunately I don't tailgate so I had enough room to get my truck and equipment trailer stopped just in the nick of time! Also today I'll give you an up close and realtime view of the dead end gravel road that our new 575 acre Missouri farm sits on, and then a look at our OVER a mile long private gravel driveway as well. This is a very exciting episode and we thank you for joining us! If you enjoyed today's video episode please hit the like button and consider subscribing to join us for all of our new life and land adventures from our new land in the Ozarks of Missouri! Thanks for joining us today and we hope you'll consider joining us on our new Missouri homestead and land purchase and all of our future land adventures, land investment adventures and projects, and all of our new Missouri home rehab projects and much more! Oh and by the way if you are interested in making a Missouri land investment and being our neighbors (literally) on a dead end road, and then a dead end, private, gated road enjoying a stunning place to hunt, or build your dream home or a deep woods retreat then you can contact us at Kapper@kapperoutdoors.com
Thank you, we hope to catch you on our next video adventure! #kapperoutdoors #kapperoutdoors2 #kapperoutdoorsMissouri #missouriland #missourihuntingland - Хобби
Best series on youtube I look forward to these videos! I like how you and Mrs. Kapper work together yall are getting it done
Awesome thank you! Now if we could only get some equal traction from the RUclips system!! Yeah we work very hard to maintain a positive attitude as this much work can easily wear a couple down!! But we are having fun and our 'plan' is still working out so far!! Thank you!
Really happy for y’all getting your forever home. I know you will make this property just as beautiful or better than previous.
That's the plan! While it is a drag that we felt we needed to do this, we will make the best of the whole life adventure! Thank you for joining us!
It'll probably take a week and a whole trailer load just to collect all your trail cams and move them to Missouri!
lol no doubt! I literally have boxes of them from IL!!
Sharon's comments at the end were hilarious!!!!!!!
lol yep she is no stranger to tossing ME under the bus regularly!! :0
man that is look great .very nice home a huge play ground for Phil.lots of work before hunting season .cant wait
OH MAN you ain't kidding! Big playground!! Love it! But yeah LOTS of work to do just to get the house cleaned out and in order!! But hopefully in the long run it will be well worth it! Thank you!
You need to see my scrap pile. My heart was breaking seeing you burn all that good wood 😂😂😂
Probably going need 2....3,000 more trail cameras now!! LOL 😂😂😂😂
NO!!!!!!!!!! 😅
oh heck yeah!! LOTS of new ground to cover!! lol
Pretty sure Sharon said NO.... sorry bud, I tried
Love it all.😊
Thank you! We are really striving to make the best of all of this work and stress but so far we are having fun!! (And success:)
You might need a batwing mower Capper and just keep the rhino for the trails.
Good suggestion!
Even a 12' one would make a massive difference!
Yepper!! I DO HAVE a 12 footer in the barn!! And it will be coming with!!
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 excellent!
the property is very impressive.. I told my wife we should buy the other land you have and build a nice big lodge so we could be snow birds. Nope she does not like the cold for that long.. Darn!
lol cold?? We moved down here for much warmer weather!! Try Green Bay!!
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 ya I guess your all most as south as we are.
Good update! Great progress for sure!
Beautiful place Joe!!! Need to get it done so you can play as Sharon was implying😊
lol somehow I do find a little time inbetween to play!! :) Thanks man
Man y'all are getting it done!
We don't mess around when there are life missions at hand!! Get ER done!! :)
Good work! How many miles is it one way between your Illinois and Missouri properties? It is about 275 miles for me one way. I have exactly 16 days until we close on our Illinois property sale. I'm getting a bit of anxiety over the trips needed to get everything moved. I have one more load of furniture I'm taking down tomorrow. Then it's all the big stuff, which unfortunately doesn't work well for stuffing my cargo trailer. For example, the side by side and the zero turn, I can only do one or the other. I don't have much left to fill the dead space. So I can't figure out if I need 3, 4 , or 5 more trips. Then there's the oddities I keep finding, like the BBQ. It's been there so long, I look at it all the time, but it doesn't register that I have to move it.
Wow, congrats as long as the closing goes well! Our ride is between 4.5 and 5 hours depending on the route and how many stops. But we purposefully did not list our IL place until we could start moving so we can spread it our over many trips. And we are hiring out the home itself, so while it is very expensive, it was a worthwhile investment for us as we have decades of life and equipment to move!! Best of luck with your moving adventures!! What area are you moving to?
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 We did the same thing. We closed on the Missouri property 3 months ago. Our Illinois property was listed on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. It was under contract by the following Wednesday. Since then, all of the real moving has been going on. It's been great because there's no rushing to move or contingencies. We're up by Warrenton, MO.
Love this new place, best part of it is....... No More JB Pritzker, LOL. ps I found it on Google Maps,
lol just don't publish it! And yeah, that is one of the main reasons for this crazy life move!!! JB and his hench men!!
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 Kapper, I would NEVER Do That, EVER.
👀👀
One step at a time 👍 Mrs K you dont need makeup men never wear make up ,,,,well some men might 😳 but men are attracted to the person inside the package 👌👌
That's right! No makeup necessary for a KO original production!! :)
Those ain't real rocks like the ones we get down in far SW MO - big slabs 2-3' thick, 8-12' long is common if you are on higher ground. Layer after layer. yep, pretty much confirmed there used to be some bug mountains here eons ago. Looks like your making great progress. So happy for you and Sharron - you are obviously chompin at the bit on the outdoor stuff while she is making hay on the house.Good that your using some of those Biden Bucks for rural internet connection funds. You might be the first one - apparently they allocated $80 billion 2 yrs ago and no one has been connected using those funds. Your welcome from your tax payer :-)
lol I saw that on a podcast just the other day!! And I thought the same thing! Are we NUMBER ONE!!?? But hey we pay a lot in taxes so what a great return we finally get to reap!! Thank you.
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 Yep, Guberment tax math. One for you, 2 for them
