Dont do it, ford and dodge have a lot better options and upgrades. Doesnt have AC vents in back for passengers and the DEF fluid is added under the hood... instead of by gas fill. And cant roll down windows from key fob, i could go on and on, gmc falling way behind .
Basically 2 options ,the diesel being one and the sun roof the other..$11,000 and it's a 2wd. Most people are right handed so GMC puts the trailer brake on the left side, no push button start, when the door is closed you have to put your hand through the steering wheel to access 4wd and headlight buttons (which are the same size so you have to take your eyes off the road so you dont choose the wrong one) and it has the strongest engine and the lowest towing capacity (among the big three diesels).. GMC is way behind when it come to functionality but the truck ,imo, looks awesome with the grille and hood.
I knew something seemed familiar about this video! I went to Ingersoll for a test drive a while back with salesman Terry in one of those trucks.
Ended up being sway to an F350. Sierra perhaps in the future...

Being the highest trim I would expect a better looking interior, ram and ford bears GM trucks in that segment

Everyone that doesn't own one sure has a flapping mouth don't they? Lol "they're too expensive!" I always hear. I'm like "dude, go get yourself more income and 950 a month won't be a big deal!"
My dad has one, but it's white. I drive it sometimes and for a big luxury diesel truck, it rides nice and is very quiet, you'd lightly hear it in motion. But really what I mainly like about the Denali Trucks are the signature Yacht Chrome Grille. To make it look beyond fancy. And also those rims like as y'all see there. They Look like shinny octopuses. Just neat looking trucks.

It does have both Apple CarPlay and android auto.
Can't they make the interior seat design and color more up to date. ford platinum or king ranch, dodge ram longhorn Southfield edition looks better

This truck would've been super bad.If it had the six way tail gate,like the 1500.I love the long bed.Still a very beautiful truck......

It kinda sounds like a 7.3 with the hood up. My dad has one of these and it's white, Denalis are pure bad boys period, with the Duramax.

@@tydrives4846 yep and I like the Yacht Chrome Grill it show good advertisements for this truck. And the rims are nice too. It kinda reminds me of an Octopus or some type of fancy Coral rock. And of course a good buddy of mine has a 2018 F450 platinum dually and of course it has the massaging seats, but besides that the new powerstrokes are fast too. But for my dad's Denali it rides smoother it's alot quicker and rides really nice and super smooth. No bumps no shakes no negative effects. But on the GMC Denali HD Trucks and the Ford super duties, there's no point on getting a dually, anything with diesel fuel should have plenty of power and strength, shew If I wanted any diesel truck I'd just get me a 2500 or 250 type of heavy duty, those are big enough for me.
What is the towing or did I miss it?
Tow ratings for this truck vary depending on if you have 4WD or 2WD and what cab and bed configuration and ofcourse if you have gas or diesel. You can tow a max of 18,100 lbs with the 2500.
70000 should come standard with 4wd
Some people who don’t get crazy weather (like I do in New England) don’t need 4WD. That’s my guess.
N&T Auto Reviews shouldn’t matter 70000 for a truck 2yrs later u be lucky to get back 40000 plus 70000 is aleast 40%-80% value of home of the people that r buying it when u get to Certain price ranges certain things should just come standard to Spend 70 grand and have to explain to somebody why you can’t go up a hill crazy maybe that’s just me

you did not show another storage, which is under the cup holder, very few people know about it, the cup holder is removable. It is very nice truck, I have the 2015.

You don't have to take the depreciation on this truck if you lease one. At the end of the lease you can turn in the keys and walk away, trade for another or buy the truck out at the remaining balance. Just remember, it's not more than you need, it's just more than you are used too.

I have a 17 Denali Dually 4X4. I love it! Except the vibration in the adjustable pedals....... why do some say Diezle? instead of DIESEL it’s as bad as Cummings ....... Christ
How ya like the Dually bud? I might get one to haul a truck camper. That or just a 2500 Denali and get the pull behind. Im not sure which one to get.

I love it! The smoothest, quietest D Max I’ve ever owned. I love them all but this is really up there. The pedal vibration was figured out. Because of the hard work of the dealer and my persistence there will be a bulletin on this issue for sure.Highly recommend.

Thanks for the info! I need a truck like this and have been doing a lot of research. About GM, I'd say they look ok and have good drive trains. But digging a wad of keys from my pocket to hang from the steering column is getting old. Primitive, actually. And why are there still gaps between the console and seat for all my french fries to fall into? Shouldn't vehicles have their own internet connection by now, with real time satellite mapping? Onstar has been able to do that for 2 decades now. I have a 2014 Denali, it's a half tonne and I can still barely tell the difference between interiors. A million plastic, rubber, leather, aluminum and carbon fiber parts rattling and squeaking against each other, which I imagine would be worse in the diesels over time. Where's the R&D they were supposed to do with our bailout money? Auto 4WD, high idle switch, massaging seats, 8 and 10 speed trannies, box & cargo features (power locking tailgate, lighting, containment), heated rear seats, LED tail lights, etc. And if the Denali is the all-in model, shouldn't all options be standard? Why are there price differences between them? Grrr. The changes are so small every year, I think all manufacturers should do away with annual releases, and only release new lineups when the actual design has been updated, not just the color and chrome trim options. That's my rant for today anyway. Lol
I see where you’re coming from. This truck is expensive and it lacks some features that my $25k Chevy Cruze has lol. It’s still a really nice truck but its ending it’s lifetime. For 2019 there’s a new Silverado 1500 and I’m assuming a new 2500 and 3500 will be out in 2020. That should be up to both of our standards if it has all the features of the all-New Silverado with its power tailgate etc.
Yeah, that's what I heard too. 2 more years for an updated 3/4 tonne. I think I'll wait and hope they leave the 6.6L unchanged unless it's to remove the DEF system.

For a truck like this, it's easy to like or to love the great features it has, so it's important to be critical of the things that are wrong with it in order to balance out all of the likes and loves, which helps keep a more realistic and practical perspective.
Ford probably a few years back tore the duramax engine and Allison transmission apart and made theirs like it

Still to this day , I'm disappointed in the "orange peel" on these trucks. I am not a painter by any means but I have painted bumpers and fender flares. I wouldn't let my paint job leave looking like these trucks on the lot.

4 gauge I bought a 2018 platinum for 68k. They had a limited that was 71. Anyone that pays msrp on any new vehicle, has been taken by the dealership.

Efrain's right. With all of the features and amenities this thing has, as well as the super high price, it's really a luxury truck, not a work truck. What does luxury truck mean? It means that this truck is for someone who wants to use a truck like a car. It's just too nice and too expensive to subject it to the rigors and brutality of work. If it were around $30,000 cheaper, then perhaps the economics of it would make it more suitable to be a work truck.
After watching again, the narrator would seem to agree about its luxuriousness 12:05, "Take a look at that interior. [It's] more of a luxury car than a truck in my opinion."
So why don't you just get the gas engine Denali then? Why would you get a $12,000 Option Diesel engine if your not going to use it for what its built for? Wake up bro these are used all over the country for work, Some of us can afford to use nice trucks for pulling things around.

That was the most painful review, I’ve ever seen, unless it was to a 5 year old!! I gave you the Benefit of the doubt, cause you could be handicapped, but De-Na-li, hood scoop, remote start, among many many many others, are all errors! But I do want to thank you for showing me where the brake pedal is though!! Lol
It is a hood scoop because it’s being used as a ram air intake it’s a hood scoop remote start or command start is the same thing and people talk different in different parts of the world
