Three decades from now, New York City is at war with itself. That and switching to the background reminds me of Top Hunter. This game is top notch
Such a cool game. It looks like they also inserted Metal Slug animation when you defeated vehicle enemies.

3:30 That radio voice clip reminds me of that one flash game "war machine" whenever you reach a checkpoint with the hummer

The amount of gameplay variations in this level alone is so damn good and you can parry the bullet! I can tell it was made with huge amount of passion. Long live run n gun 🔥🔥

Can we talk about how "man-of-culture compliant" are Mariana's design and animations? I mean, it's not a major selling point, but a bit of fan service -- indeed, how expressive and packed with appeal *all* of the characters are -- can be a refreshing little bit of sugar on top of an exciting package. They definitely decided not to go the Dustborn route!

@ The John Wick part is the fact that our main protagonists are assassins for a crime family.
Wow really cool mechanics
Their previous game Steel Assault had good presentation, but not too great on much else. You can see they improved a lot and you can see what they were attached to. Although, I'm surprised they use that boss intro sound effect still since I believe it's used in Megaman ZX stuff. Maybe it's a stock sound both have used.
Funny too how the target was said to be nearby and they have to drive all the way on the highway to get there.
I disagree. Steel Assauly had great things going for it and believe it to be one of the best action platformers. They’ve taken a lot of that DNA into here.
I think the target is running away from the cops from the beginning info.

@ Alright, then there isn't anything more I can say. We had different experiences. I'd call Steel Assault fine but nowhere near one of the best of anything. To reiterate though, this looks much better.

Why does she look like Elsa Bloodstone? But this game looks fun. I love a good pick-up game. I don’t have to invest in the story, just turn on and play for an hour.
Honestly my favorite type of game. I don't want to wait 1-2 hours for the action to start
i love the art direction it remind me of Katana zero. But with the gameplay of Metal slug or contra and Huntdown. Andthe game seems too easy

@MegaYoYo Doesn't matter what you play, any game with multiple enemies and a boss is cheap. You're being surrounded, they could find better ways to prepare you for that instead of it literally screaming jump on the side of the screen for 3 secs prior to whatever it is showing itself.
