    Oh my goodness Daniel! You have come so far since you started this channel, that's just amazing! You are making a big difference in your community & the world :) When I started watching you I only had just a few Silkies and YOU inspired me to branch out so now I have about 20 breeds/500 birds and starting my breeding program soon and while I can only dream of getting to where you are now I have that start all because YOU inspired me. Thank you so much! You will always be my favorite "chicken channel" lol.

    Just an idea, but you can use the different levels or separate rooms to your advantage. Instead of raising a batch of chickens at 10,000 at the same time, why not do batch’s of like 500-1000 and move them to a different level though the structure at different ages of the chickens. You can manage different feed and vitamins at certain ages of chickens for what they need at that time. You also can keep disease separate so you won’t lose all your chickens if there is a problem.

    • @FarmUp
      @FarmUp  3 года назад +1

      Managing many lots of birds is so tiresome. You have to make different preparations for everything

    Hey congrats on the new bill. Looks like you’re on your way. Couple things to consider. At 10,000 birds and I’m guessing you’re gonna have 5000 each level maybe. On the top level are you looking at 5000×5. Which means you’re gonna have 15,000 pounds of weight on the second floor. You might want to make sure that the second floor is extra secure and structurally sound.

What about replacing your coal burners with rocket mass stoves located outside the building with long horizontal chimneys cutting across the floor as an alternative system incase you get a sudden unexpected cold event? Tell us what you decide to do?
