Leif is the true MVP. Man went on a 15 year mission to find and bring back Thorfinn, and never quit, even when Thorfinn refused to come back with him in season 1. And now he even wants to help Thorfinn with his dream.
None of my friends really watched Vinland Saga with me so I had no one to talk about it with. The ones who do don't get it as much. I've always gone to reaction channels like yours to compensate and yours is one of the reactions I watch because I feel like I'm watching it with some friends. This one was a nice season. See you in season 3!
Don’t worry, peak reaction channels like FilmBuff, Autosave and LM Reactions are watching the show as well. I look forward to their discussions every week
I fell in love with this work to an unusual degree, both in terms of the story, the characters, the dazzling production of episodes and attention to the smallest details in it, between the change of Thorfinn's character from a cheerful little boy to a young man hungry for revenge, and after that, you show us, the writer, Thorfinn's journey in tolerance with himself and others!! The work as a whole so far (I'm still in the second season ) has a very high rating for me ..And I liked that in the first season we saw action and endless Viking madness and also Thorfinn turned into a ruthless character just all in order to kill ashilad, however he did not achieve his goal and this left a very big void in him because his life Most of it was spent fighting and nothing else .. And in the second season, the writer significantly changed the course of events, and this gave room to see the hero in his various expressions and feelings after all the madness and suffering that he went through and continues to go through until he forgives himself and finds the key that will make him a real warrior as his father wanted
Best anime ever. Summit of authenticity and art. Rewatching season 1 is absolutely worth it. You see SO many parts that are incredibly important and contribute to Thorfin's resolve in season 2, that you'd have no clue about.
I love Thorfinn's new look because not only does it make him look younger, it makes him look way more similar to how he was when he was a child. It's like he's re-discovered that joy he had for the sea and adventure, while retaining the lessons he's learned. He's still his father's son, but now he's moving past the stage of his development where he embraced that to something else; being an explorer. ALSO I would LOVE a discussion after you rewatch season 1 because as Carson says there's elements of stuff from this season that were being seeded in season 1.
@@cokecan6169 Yeah. I understand why they cut what they cut and why they wanted to end it how they did, but a part of me wishes for an extended cut when it comes out on Blu-ray.
I really like the added scene that calls back to the very end of episode 1, it's cool how Thorfinn is remembering that memory almost like he was watching it. This episode was really solid as far as an adaptation they added a tiny bit without taking anything away. Top three episodes for me might be 24, 15, 6.

Yeah, due to the ass development and distribution mishaps, the show's got two english dubs and both are bloody awful. this show, which is set in medieval western world had so much possibilities to have one of the best english dubs but the acting is awful in both of the dubs. Also Askeladd he will remain an important figure to Thorfinn just as much as Thors no matter what, so its right to show him still
This episode was just phenomenal. How everything ended where it started (and it's not even the real ending yet cause there's a tougher journey waiting for Thorfinn from here on out). Plus the whole episode just made me smile throughout for everyone in it. Just in overall incredible season despite some flaws. - Thorfinn's reunion with his mother was just beautiful. Thorfinn's VA killed it with his voice when he broke down crying. - Leif finally at peace (and our man deserves it) after fulfilling the promise he made to Thorfinn's family that he will find him no matter how many years it took. - That touching scene between Thorfinn and Ari (the young guy who really looked up to Thors and blamed himself for getting Thors killed by Askeladd's men). - The hilarious reunion between Thorfinn and his sister (that killed me) but also the touching scene between them while they were looking their father's weapons chest. - Einar being welcomed so warmly and getting approved by Thorfinn's mother as her own son. That was deep and our dude Einar deserves it. - Bug Eye's best episode (this dude will shine even more in later seasons) where he showed his supportive side to Thorfinn. Plus he's a great comedian as well. - The whole scene around the fire with everyone with Thorfinn telling the things he encountered in those last 16 years including how it changed it for the worst and for the better in the end. - That scene by that slave's grave (who Thors saved at tbe begining of S1) with the beautiful aurora surrounding Thorfinn. Seeing how it played such an important role to Thorfinn's character here now just blew me away. Plus seeing Thorfinn with his dad in that vision overlooking Vinland was just incredibly beautiful. - Lastly, the whole montage at the end of everyone with new characters who we'll see in S3 alongside Thorfinn's new appearance made me overjoyed on what's to come in the future.
just to clear up. In the manga thorfinn specifrically refuses the chest of silver because he knows the farm needs it. The farm has to repay the debts of all the farmers ontop of dealing with the dead. They are far from rich anymore.

The son thinks he shouldn't need a sword, his One-Punch-Sister knows she doesn't need a sword for another reason. 😆
PEAKLAND ANIME OF THE YEAR
Why would you need enemies when you have friends, or in Thorfinn's case, family.
I like the ost in the end 🔥🔥🔥👨🏻🍳
Claim your "I stuck with the farming simulator and ended up reaping peak fiction" badge here.
Man i had dropped it around ep 9 and then came back when it has 21 and glad i did the greatest anime of all time 🐐 Vinland saga 🤩
I have just one problem with this season, and specifically with the finale. Torfinn looked better with long hair. The beard can go, but I'll miss the long hair. :(
Episode 23???
Masterpiece show 😢💓
I've been watching you guys for a few episodes and I kinda always got this feeling the guy talks over the girl and kinda dominates the video with his mediocre personality and this kinda confirmed it with the opening lmao
Maybe it's edited to look like that for a joke but idk just kinda confirms the vibes I got
Peak that’s all I can say it’s actual peak
Cute clothes with Ponyo design☺
new haircut just like thorfinn
I'm sad he lost his facial hair.
Oh well Einar can be the top in that relationship 💕
18:51 "Ok squidward try to imagine him in his underwear... OH NO HE'S HOT"
Y'all be careful reading comments, saw some small spoilers
Here comes Chadfinn!!!
THA~NK YOU~!!!!!!!!!! 🤣
Peakland Saga continues .....until next time

GIMME THE PODCASSTTTTT
Manga readers,Does it get better than this??,is the next arc goated ??
次の章からは、トルフィンの理想主義は限界まで試されます。トルフィンの旅は実際には、ようやく始まったのです。トルフィンの理想を「甘い」と思っている人々は、次の章には満足して貰えるでしょう。
I would say that's the best arc, but I didn't catch up with the current one. There is a small one after the farm and next is a very long one many people don't like. And it is really not as good as prologue and farm, but I think anime will elevate it
writing-wise it's not like season 2, but it's going to be great, and it's back to action, vikings, wars, blood.
IMHO, eastern expedition arc is just as good if not better than farmland arc
It actually doesn't need to take 4 years to make another season, it took 4 yrs because rhe 1st season isn't that much of a hit (ik it's crazy, but most people just choose shonen over this kind of stuff)
finally a haircut
My top favorite show🤚🏼🤍
top 2 seasons for me fr
you should be see anime mashle magic and muscles
Goatland Saga
AMAZING,
Nice Hair 👀
The only thing I don't like is the fact that they got rid of his long hair and his beard 😢
