And perhaps the movie Highlander Endgame erases the facts from the two previous sequels. Even in the movies it seems that there are parallel universes of the story!
This film was great no doubt but its sequel is a rubbish... they spoiled a very good movie... and in my generation I cant see a remake that is compareable... Lambert was the only one.

I have yet to watch this movie with someone who didn't completely loose their shit during this scene. It usually starts with the confusion over Ramirez telling him to let Heather go, then the eyes start welling when she comes over the hill with the lamb and is old, when they put it together as to what he meant. There's actually been people to lose it there, though mostly, the water works definitely turn on when she passes.

But after watching the scene where Connor never gets old, yet his wife does, I said to myself, 'Immortality is a curse...the love of his life would rest in piece and Connor would be left to wander the world...alone with no companionship.' How does an Immortal go on knowing that his life is forever, but those around him that he cherishes are on borrowed time? It's really sad, yet poetic too.

I have yet to watch this movie with someone who didn't completely loose their shit during this scene. It usually starts with the confusion over Ramirez telling him to let Heather go, then the eyes start welling when she comes over the hill with the lamb and is old, when they put it together as to what he meant. There's actually been people to lose it there, though mostly, the water works definitely turn on when she passes.

You know, for years I always thought that immortality was a gift...a blessing. But after watching the scene where Connor never gets old, yet his wife does, I said to myself, 'Immortality is a curse...the love of his life would rest in piece and Connor would be left to wander the world...alone with no companionship.' How does an Immortal go on knowing that his life is forever, but those around him that he cherishes are on borrowed time? It's really sad, yet poetic too.
