- We want (most) characters to survive in The Boys Season 5. But if their character had to die, we asked the stars of the Prime Video show to pitch a dream death. Here are Chace Crawford (The Deep), Jack Quaid (Hughie), Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Tomer Capone (Frenchie), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), Valorie Curry (Firecracker), Susan Heyward's (Sister Sage) responses. And we also asked showrunner Eric Kripke to weigh in.

I love how everyone cares for their character except the Deep 😂
Beware the soup
ong
Kinda deserved ig? 😅As much as entertaining he is in the show, when he had a chance for redemption arc, blud just threw it into bin. The Deep also was se sual predator (I mean almost every corrupt supe in this series does).
Cause I don’t have to think about it long he’s going to survive the whole show. He’s not going to die at all. He survives the comic and everything. Why would they kill him in the show lots of people like him and him dying would add nothing to the story basically just him dying so yeah he knows he’s not gonna die so he doesn’t care😂
And sage is the opposite of care she wants her character to get absolutely disintegrated😂
All I could predict for Deep is he gonna get murdered by his fish buddies for killing the Octopus or him and Black Noir dying together as bros in a hilarious manner😂
I feel like it's gotta be one of the two
The fish one world be perfect tbh
I feel like he’s gonna say something very stupid to a very angry Homelander and he’s just gonna snap at him and throw him into the water or something
@primetimemonkyhours743 homelander could break his arms and legs and just dump him in the water so he dies of his injuries there or gets eaten by sealife possibly killed by the octopus' family as she did mention her and the deep going to visit her relatives
imagine sage being outstupided, like not outsmarted by someone who is smarter (cause she is the smartest) but by someone who is just so dumb that it's unpredictable tactic kinda shi
Deep
1:21 Peak idea coming from The Peak 😂
Drowned in the soup 😂
Lost in the sauce.
Peak thoughts with the peak
The Peak NEVER MISSES
A-Train is probably gonna die by sacrificing himself, truly becoming a hero
He's gotta sacrifice himself to save Hughie
@@alexzeng9833 for the third time 💀
I want him to sorta run a railroad for those vought is hunting down and dies rescuing hughie
He is def gonna play part in camp liberation
The redemption+death arc is so overdone though. I’d like to see him get his redemption and live to get his flowers. But I think you’re right.
I think a perfect death for Homelander would be Soldier Boy takes away his powers and then The Boys kill him in the most brutal way possible
The jumping on Homelander is unevitable😂
Agreed. He needs to get totally humbled and feel powerless for once before he goes out.
Almost , i’d give hime more a goodfellas ending. He won’t get killed but he becomes the most normal, useless moron in town.
wrd
Homelander jjk jumping style, letsgooo
As a fan of the comics it's so fucking cool that Jesse would like to recreate a-train's death, but it would never work now as a confrontation, since a-train has undergone a sort of redemption and hughie has pretty much forgave him.
I haven't read the comics (saving it for after the show) though i know what happens in broad strokes so i love that Jesse wants to go out comic accurate but where the show is right now it looks more like its gonna be either the 7 or Butcher that gets A-Train. My money is on Butcher he's off on his own with powers so i think he is going to go and try to pick them off one by one.
homelander is 90% killing him
Idk I feel like he’s going to die sacrificing himself the exact opposite of the comics, maybe for Hughie or just some innocent civilians.
@@scarsch1286*sacrificing himself?
i guess redemption = you're immune...
also, the comic accurate circumstance would still work in Butcher's favor as he was the one that was instigating (as part of his plan, regarding Hughie) Hughie to off A-train in the comics.
I think sister Sage somehow remaining dumb is a worse fate than her dying. I don’t think she’s afraid to die, at least not like other people are.
Yeah that would be significantly worse. Reminds me of that level in dishonored 2. The only way make it even worse would be letting sage know that she'll spend her rest of life as a capybarnia.
Like maybe her brain is damaged somehow and she loses her powers before its fully healed maybe shes hit by soldiers blast at the same time as Homelander and while The Boys are jumping HL Sage is just in the corner babbling. (This is springboarding off the theory that HL loses his powers by SB and gets the snot stomped out of him)
Sage is literally omniscient in the show she needs a nerf anyway 💀
Deep could probably drown if only his head was submerged. But my prediction if he was to be drowned is that Homelander would rip off or laser his gills and then submerge him in water to drown.
Yeah I like the idea that Deep spent all his time sucking up to Homelander only to be brutally killed by him
1:30 I feel like it would be way more subversive if he survived and made up for all the wrong he did by truly becoming a hero but if he lost his life saving Hughie I feel like that would be a good conclusion to his character as well.
also tie it up with his bro Nate
cmon... slackstarfish...
The Boys (comic & show) is a meta-modernism commentary, that's against (pre-)modernism abstractions/concepts such as 'Good & Evil, Morality, Right & Wrong, Hero & Villain' etc.
its also a meta-modernism commentary against, but for the value of progressive meaning within existence itself via Existential Nihilism (& any form of Nihilism, primarily Absurdism).
imagine now all of them dying except for the Deep 😂
And he writes a memoir about it in which he is the hero
That's what happens in the comics as well.
hey that's my shoulder
Well, he isn't a very dangerous individual on his own so it would be suitable for him to suffer homelander's aftermath maybe a lifetime prison or something.
I dont think that Susan likes Sage, like, at all 🤭
You should be more concerned if The Seven actors actually like their characters on the show 😭
@@lankyimnida595no? It’s totally okay for actors to sympathize with their characters, even when they are villains. HOTD actors do it all the time, it doesn’t mean they support their actions lol
@@jshell0771 there's a difference between liking & sympathizing. Even if an actor can sympathize with their character, they'd also dislike & hate them at the same time.
@@jshell0771 maybe they just want more pay checks.
@@jshell0771HotD characters aren't as evil as the Seven 💀
There's more of a rivalry in that show than between the Seven and the boys.
Ain't no way Antony Star is going to say "I hope Homelander wins"
Kripke saying the characters who die in season 5 deserve it have me thinking Butcher, Homelander, Deep, and Soldier Boy are guaranteed. Firecracker, A-train, Frenchie, the guy who’s the president, and possibly the new Noir are strong maybes based on character arcs
President-elect Bobby Singer was taken into custody after that video of him saying his ordered hit on Victoria was botched.
In the comics, she is a he and he makes DUHbya look like MENSA material. Vic the Veep is killed by a rabid Wolverine a little girl brings into 1600 for “bring your pet to work day” or some nonsense.
Yes, really.
And that Noir is the same actor as before, but he’s playing a different dude in the same suit. Also, slightly different powers, including limited flight.
@@brainlock72 the guy I was talking about was the House Speaker who became president after Singer got arrested. I think his name is Calhoun
@@MariUrameshi you made we write that out TWICE for some nobody?
Random finger taps the screen and YT says 🖕🖕🖕🖕
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I feel like Frenchie and/or Kimiko will die and I will 100% cry about it. My predictions is that of the Boys, Hughie, Starlight, and MM will live.
If one of the characters outsmarts Sage in season finale that would be so satisfying.
Let her feel extreme humiliation and vulnerable before her inevitable death.
The deep drowning would be the funniest bit of all time
"Taking out Homelander" just asking for the biggest scene of the show when Kimiko an Homelander have barely interacted if at all
Right, just like the arya stark situation
Yea, I think they should leave that spot for Butcher. In my opinion Kimiko can play some sort of sacrifice, like fighting Homelander to save Frenchie.
Chance Crawford (the deep) is the only one that sounds exactly like their character 😂
Edit: Nevermind so does Jack Quaid (Hughie)
Jessie is fine af
Ik, especially when he puts that red makeup all over his face 🤗
They fs ganna kill off deep cause he said people who die in season 5 richly deserve it :(
That chick that plays sister sage really was the perfect pick for the roll. I mean watching her out of character still has me on the edge of my seat because subconsciously I’m on my toes thinking “this is the smartest person speaking, what’s their angle?”. So kudos to the show runners for perfectly casting/portraying a genius character believably
was legit just saying this to myself, her passion for the role is great, even in this interview she seems like she’s playing it. awesome casting
I think that FireCracker will be killed by Homelander because look at Homie’s past girlfriends! He killed Stilwell stormfront was killed by his son it only makes sense for firecracker to be killed by Homelander since he clearly doesn’t like her thaaat much
I don't think he'll kill her cause he doesn't like her but as an end to his constant need for love especially from a motherly figure.
Actually Stormfront offed herself.
@@monsoon1303 but she didn’t die immediately tho
@@scrollingthru45 That is a great idea
As long as his gills are above water the deep could drown. Upside down from a crane? Die like his octopus.
The Deep dying by drowning in a bowl of soup 😂
Hearing Frenchie speak in his normal voice is so weird 😂😂
SO happy to hear Jack mention the Pink Sands bit. It was my hope for them ending the show there ever since I saw that scene
The Deep could drown, just like fish can, in de-oxygenated water or in something that's not water. Oil, for example, or, this being _The Boys_ maybe Love Sausage would be involved.
I feel like Homelander is gonna be like “do jumping jacks” until she dies of the heart issues
Erik kripke just took note for the deep 😂😂. 50 per cent chance it is happening in season 5
I love sage fr
"Half The Boys Cast Refuse to Pitch Dream Deaths for Characters"
love this cast and the interviewer!
I had this idea where Frenchie takes V, and his powers is he can induce hallucinations. So he uses his powers on Homelander, homelander gets addicted to the high, kidnaps frenchie to use him for fixes, and then he loses his mind and becomes a vegetable.
I dont want deep to die he should be like the janitor after
If butcher dies, which he will, i hope he hears a voice and its not becca or kessler, but lenny and her falls into arms and lenny tells him that he'll be okay or something, and butcher finally finds his peace in death
Hughie and Annie survive, walk into the sunset.
I see Frenchie sacrificing himself for The Female/Kimiko. She goes Rogue after this.
(Also, Karen cleans up NICE!)
MM/Marvin escapes to join his ex/daughter, but just barely.
Errrrybody else dies.
Only a few Supes remain, too low level to even be a threat.
(Unless Vought calls them all in, but it’s to drain them and strain the Compound V out of them for the next generation….?)
Let’s be honest, The Deep’s death pitch wouldn’t exactly be out of character.
Hughie kills A-Train but it's a mercy kill. A-Train gets blasted by Soldier boy and gets his legs laser off by Homelander.
The Deep drowning would be so funny!
Also A-Train has to die by the hands of Hughie.
The boys actors or no fun at all the villains at least were willing to give a real answer
Just answer the fcking question bro it's not like if they say it they will die IRL
I personally think all of The Boys members actors know they’re gonna die (other than Hughie), as only The Seven members actors gave an answer to dying., I could be reading into their reactions too much but I don’t think it’s too far fetched to say they have the base story of season 5 wrote out.
Since soldier boy is coming back in season 5 and his radioaction blast can burn the V out of the blood, what if he does that to the deep and then makes him drown
Lol like all these dream deaths they are all perfect
notice all the 7 is able to answer while the Boys can’t.
They play despicable characters while the Boys don't.
Dream death for MM would be strangled by Love Sausage
The comics end with everyone dead except for Hughie and Annie, so while i'm sure that the only deaths we can expect for sure are Butcher and Homelander's, im also pretty certain they will get their happily ever after, and will leave all of this behind.
I hope you guys realize that the people that they are interviewing maybe just MAYBE they’re doing it on purpose cause they actually do die in season 5 otherwise what’s the point right? Just a thought
The supes actors all know their characters have it coming lol
"the boys" have no balls ahah, the whole group is afraid to pitch their own death.
Also Kripke:
"Anyone who dies in S5 will richly deserve it", i hope it won't just be like all the Seven nation army + Butcher die, end of the story. I want the fu**ing apocalypse.
Its not easy to write in the end of your character with a team of writers that have a certain plan already. Plus, if they already know what happens they gotta lie lol.

@@jameer7565 actors don't know anything, writers tell them things in the process of shooting, also it was just a funny and stupid question, no one asked them how they will die in the show, they could have said "hit by an asteroid"
@@damianoledda5497honestly I don’t want any of the boys to die. The seven? Absolutely. Butcher? I don’t want him to die but i don’t see him living because he’s on a total path to self destruction, but I think it’d be needlessly cruel to kill off any of the rest of the gang.
the show is literally called "the boys" not "the seven"
The Peak could make the impossible possible
If kimiko dies, the entire show is ruined. I will hate the boys for the rest of my life.
hearing capone talk without frenchie's accent feels wrong
They better get Terror back
The Deep wants to die a deep way 💀💀
Everybody who deserves it means that the only character in the boys at risk is butcher. Deep and homelander and sage are fucked though
I feel butcher definitely will die
Wanting an Arya Stark moment is crazy
Peak! Peak! Peak!
I would have Homelander decide to kill all the other superheroes so that they never become a danger to him and that he remains the most powerful being on Earth with no rivals for him to share his glory and adulation with..
I hopes Sages actress is a writer
Homelander should die at the hand of Butcher, there's no other way. And if Butcher proceeds with his supe genocide plan, I hope Ryan would stop him.
In the comics I believe everyone shown here dies besides deep and hughie
I think there should be a sequel to the boys and it should be a deep spinoff
Dude... No-one likes Arya killing the Night King lol.. don't use that reference... NOOOO
REAL
"I want that Arya Stark moment... Maybe Homelander could be defeated by Kimiko" - the literal worst sentence ever uttered by a human being
she's just relearning how to speak again so of course she will say some gibberish, just give her grace,
that will never happen, if the got tha directlion, they will have starlight doing it most likely.
@@grandcanyon-d4d anyone other than Butcher or Ryan kills Homelander, and it's a bad writing decision
@@gdmav7775 ryan, no, soldier boy and noir, yes, but kimiko would never do it, don't worry.
@@grandcanyon-d4d The primary villain and literal driving force of the entire story being killed by someone he has had two scenes so far would be an absolutely horrible idea. Soldier Boy ain't killing Homelander. Noir killing him would be ridiculous because Noir is a random ass comic relief side character that may as well be a stranger with no connection to him whatsoever. From a writing perspective, the only characters that should kill Homelander are the characters with the most motivation or emotional connection to him. That's Ryan and Butcher
Starlight, Butcher, and Frenchie doesn’t make it. Both MM and A train lose their family and Hughie goes to the pink sands with Kimiko, A train and MM. Homelander, soldier boy, Sister Sage and the rest of Vought either gone or defeated and they finally get to relax, but at what cost and without their other half they still have each other
Why is Firecracker being normal SO weird 👀 I’ve also never been remotely attracted to her character, but now?? 👀
Would love for homelander to win
That would defeat the whole purpose of the show plus he just won in the season 4 finale for now
@@Wrldisevil Plus he's pretty much won for every season except 2, he's gotta have his ultimate defeat in 5
