- Speaker Om Birla didn't mince his words when he fact-checked National Conference MP Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi over Article 370. Aga Ruhullah wrongly stated that the Article 370 nullification bill was passed within half an hour and that the Speaker had allowed that to happen. To which Om Birla retorted saying that there was a debate for over 9 hours on the Article 370 issue and that the MP is unaware of what happened

Someone has rightly said, truth is bitter. Mr. speaker, you definitely have power to silence them but don't forget it's temporary. Every truth is gonna come out including your model daughter's selection as an IAS Officer.
