    I have the Carli King CS-DPT25-19-PW 2" lift system on my 2022 PW with the added Carli King radius arms and diff protector and what a difference it makes over the stock system! The shocks and coil springs wonderfully dampen and moderate the ride when travelling quickly over washboard roads and soak up the potholes like they aren't there. I've driven my buddy's F250 4X4 with the stock suspension and it rides like a tank. I let him drive my truck and he instantly told me he going to order the kit for his truck. This is a must upgrade for anyone who intends to pack a load into the backwoods.

    Semper Fi! So I have a 2020 PW and went with the Pure Performance Kit. I’m not real happy with it to be honest, the steering is shitty over bumps and the one thing that drives me nuts is the front coils sagged after awhile probably from the weight of the winch, so I rub when I’m turning with 37’s when I didn’t before. I’m curious to see if yours sags in the front as well.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  3 года назад +1

      We're happy to help! You'll always need to trim a little with 37s, but these coils sit true to claimed height for years. Shoot us an email and we can help out with your truck: sales@cjcoffroad.com

    Did you guys get a proper label to add to the truck with the new max payload listed? Specifically for Insurance purposes if an accident we’re to occur, overloading of the truck is something that would be considered

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  2 года назад

      There is no way to legally change or alter the truck's GVWR. These rear coils help the truck operate better and more conformably within its capacity range, but do not change the GVWR as other factors like the frame, axles etc are still determining the truck's max payload. It is the owner's responsibility to operate the vehicle within its limits.

    I see that you left yours as well and was wandering why leave the stock spare tire in? Seams like dead weight and (not sure) if you can use it still being that you went oversized with what your driving on. Seams like you would gain a little more weight in the bed with that tire not being under there, but again my thought was being two conplete different sizes you couldn't use the spare to save the gears, any thoughts?

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  3 года назад +1

      Since the front diff on these trucks is open, you can still use a smaller spare in a pinch. Nothing bigger than the factory spare fits in the factory location, so it makes sense to keep it!

  • @justincarson5140
    @justincarson5140 3 года назад

    Just so we are all clear does the plus 2 coil put any rake back into the truck over the plus 1? I have the plus 1” soft ride coil in my 2018 and the sag with a trailer is so bad I want to go back to stock height. I get tired of switching the timbrens in and out. (1st world problems I know:))

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  3 года назад +1

      The +2 coil uses a higher spring rate, which results in 2” of lift unloaded compared to the 1” with the normal Carli coils. Even though the spring rate is higher, ride is still significantly better than stock.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  3 года назад +1

      We can absolutely improve ride, but some height increase is needed since a huge part of the ride quality issue is lack of up travel from ride height. With a Carli system we're able to double the front suspension travel with only 3.5" of height increase over stock.

    • @marvinheadrick3511
      @marvinheadrick3511 3 года назад

      The Carli bar will work on the PW, but the PW already has special radius arms with like a double hinge that articulates more than the standard 2500. So the Carli arms aren’t really needed.

    • @CJCOffRoad
      @CJCOffRoad  3 года назад

      The factory Power Wagon arms feature an extra joint for added articulation, which makes them absolutely worth keeping if you enjoy low speed crawling. However that joint does increase front end wander/vagueness in the steering at highway speed and frequently fails/tears with high speed off road driving, so there’s an application for both the factory arms and Carli arms on these trucks depending on how you use them. Since Brad has no plans to smash through whoops in his truck, the factory arms made sense!

      @giancarlodamantte8066 Год назад

      @@ahmadm.3296 I believe the height of the kit determines if the radius arm drop brackets are needed, but have not heard of a case where the replacement arms would be necessary. With the drop brackets installed, the factory arms are more exposed and look "tinny," cheap, or thin (I.M.O.), and I imagine aesthetics have a lot more to do with the installation of them than any benefits to rigidity or stiffness etc
