You guys are in denial if you think Kamel won that battle. There both the homie but seriously. You repeat you lose. Simple as that. Shoulda been Megus vs Reveal. That woulda been a burner right there.
K-Mel moves are sloppy from watching it back in the days to now ... Reveal is the type you can say hi too and he wave back .. K-Mel is one stuck up dude at Events
you mayn it dont matter on who smoke who yo.they came out and did there shit. and till this day they both are pioneers of bboying. they created so many moves that these cats still use till this day. they both came out hard. and as for being repetative. i wanna see one of yall go up against these foo"s and go 10 rounds without repeating. i aint trying to attack no one hear but just know whassup.
theres a rule thats says you cant write your moves down? i didnt know bboying had rules well maybe we should ask the ref..nah fuck that theres no ref no rule that says you cant use a "cheat sheet" this isnt fuckin math class
Some bboys will say Reveal won this. Others will say Kmel. For the people that say reveal won its because he didn't repeat as much. But if you like at the transitions, tops, and flow you have to give it to Kmel. If it were just about the number of moves, then we'd all be worried about getting the next best freeze, and not the dance. I give it to Kmel because he did everything else. Altho Reveal had original moves, he also used a cheat sheet. Im also some1 who originally thought reveal won at 1st
I remember when this came out. Highly anticipated battle because of the history. But I remember being a little disappointed. Reveal definitely bit K-Mel's style(that's what the beef was mostly about) or you could say Reveal was heavily "influenced by K-Mel" and this wasn't K-Mel's best performance by a long shot.
Any bboy who needs a play book and a check list aint that good and revele slipped and had some sloppy moves vs other james he was clean and on point but kmel won this hands down
Lol pretty much but back then you couldent shit talk and not throw down not even for money just to prove a point and if you dident wana throw you had to shut the fuck up becuz nobody respected u enough if you never proved your worth now kids run there fuckin mouths on social media and never will step up for 5 rounds
I have a question what happen to reveal? is still around or is he still rockforce.. In my opinion Reveal is the best one in Rockforce , machine is second.
Yo this was a slaughter Mel just didn’t add to his game enough at this point why he repeated so much. Reveal had to much and by round 6 he got cocky back on Mel and it is what it is landslide win and look on Tells face told whole story around round 6 he was obviously pulling for Kmel
what exactly did reveal bite off kmel? I literally see too diff dancers. Reveal openly said kmel influenced him. But who didn’t he influence. I feel confident in saying that if this battle was judged by today’s standards reveal would have won. But the roast the most battles aren’t about winning there about respect like rocking a cypher.
No disrespect but thats it right there. Its not a math class its street dance. You must feel the music or your not dancing. If you write down sets then your only aim is to just win a battle and not become a better dancer. Thats much like someone who goes to school to just pass so they cheat but once graduated they don't know how to do a damn thing in the real world. People who write sets make up sets are people who eventually get exposed. Its not a good practice to make sets. feel the song.
I think kmel won, but by a hair. They were pretty much tied near the end; kmel killed reveal at the beginning, then reveal killed kmel later on. By the last few rounds they were pretty much tied but kmel was just a little better especially in the last one or two sets.
Richard Morante it looks good when you go out and hit your movers and don’t repeat.. k-Mel just did the same moves over and over maybe he need a sheet to stop repeating
@rottenrockers yo homie don't talk to me like Im stupid. Know it in my heart? so what if he uses a cheatsheet? Yo listen to the fucking crowd. People were laughing he was using a cheat sheet! you don't use that shit when you're battling! Especially in a exhibition. You lost all your rounds doing that. I aint sugar coating nothin'. I spoke my mind. This is a dance, first of all. Is moves all you look at? Look at the flow, transitions, drops and timing to the music. That don't mean anything?
i have this on vhs. this was like the well awaited match of the year cause of the beef they both had
When bite signs actually meant something...now its meaning has changed smh
Now it’s just a way to piss people off. Lmao
Wow, I've seen so many people request for this on youtube, and after all these years, someone actually put it up.
who cares who fucking wins this one... this is just epic...!!!! thanks for posting
Miami battles were the best back then. What memories. Great times.💯💯💯
Kmel called him resteal lmaoo
my best vhs!!!! good old times!
This is just like watching Jordan vs Kobe. Kamel set the table for Ryan but in the end Ryan was more technically sound.
He needed a fuckin play boom to win tho
reveal had a cheat sheet lmao
the point of the battle is to win or why call it a battle, kmel obviously has a bad memory cause he did the same set every time
CLASSIC !!!
I'd give it to Reveal. Didn't repeat, and he seemed a lot smoother and cleaner as well.
You guys are in denial if you think Kamel won that battle. There both the homie but seriously. You repeat you lose. Simple as that. Shoulda been Megus vs Reveal. That woulda been a burner right there.
Vengence was at his high and wpulda smoked resteal with his dam check list

The problem with this Jam, is the same song on repeat.
Para mi fue un.EMPATE Ambos estuvieron Genial
When the Djs played only one song 😂 geez give it up to dancers
K-Mel moves are sloppy from watching it back in the days to now ... Reveal is the type you can say hi too and he wave back .. K-Mel is one stuck up dude at Events
yo can anybody in the bboy community help me out with finding the song for this battle??
you mayn it dont matter on who smoke who yo.they came out and did there shit. and till this day they both are pioneers of bboying. they created so many moves that these cats still use till this day. they both came out hard. and as for being repetative. i wanna see one of yall go up against these foo"s and go 10 rounds without repeating. i aint trying to attack no one hear but just know whassup.
dope
k-mel will always look like he breaking for a sandwich
Now that I look at it again...I have to give it to Reveal....Kmel is dope but he kept doing the same stuff. It was close tho...
kmel... kmel.... kmel.... point.
what year was this?
end of the day is dancing.... what make it different from a sport player? .. all about winning and paying the bills !!! CO FOR LIFE
K-Mel is dope but did the same moves over and over and over sorry lost this one big time reveal took this by far ..only fan boys would say different
theres a rule thats says you cant write your moves down? i didnt know bboying had rules well maybe we should ask the ref..nah fuck that theres no ref no rule that says you cant use a "cheat sheet" this isnt fuckin math class
Reveal retired Kmel after this battle😂

Any bboy who needs a play book and a check list aint that good and revele slipped and had some sloppy moves vs other james he was clean and on point but kmel won this hands down
daryl obey Can you go 10 rounds, without repeating a move? There is no cheating on what moves you can perform. This is a memory refresh.
Maybe someone here knows the name of a song pls???
well he was battling kmel in the early 2000's
Reveal took that one, I remember it well, reveal has so many moves that he never actually does, mills, headspins, turtle etc... Great battle
pacquiao vs mayweather
Lol pretty much but back then you couldent shit talk and not throw down not even for money just to prove a point and if you dident wana throw you had to shut the fuck up becuz nobody respected u enough if you never proved your worth now kids run there fuckin mouths on social media and never will step up for 5 rounds
@@darylobey8867 probly you know the song btw? Been searching for it for a while
I have a question what happen to reveal? is still around or is he still rockforce.. In my opinion Reveal is the best one in Rockforce , machine is second.
sisi !!
Reveal had the moves, but Kmel had the groove, Kmel took it
the fact that you need a "cheat sheet" means you can't master your shit
kMAROONp maybe k-Mel should of used one because he did the same moves over and over
REVEAL all day
Yo this was a slaughter Mel just didn’t add to his game enough at this point why he repeated so much. Reveal had to much and by round 6 he got cocky back on Mel and it is what it is landslide win and look on Tells face told whole story around round 6 he was obviously pulling for Kmel
This battle like 16 years old
It was 2001 i gues
what exactly did reveal bite off kmel? I literally see too diff dancers. Reveal openly said kmel influenced him. But who didn’t he influence. feel the song.
Breaking is more than just a dance even though it's a dance in the first place
Btw do you know the song ?
reveal for the win. i've seen both do better but reveal had more unique sets, kept it cleaner as the battle progressed. better freezes too.
2002
2001
I think kmel won, but by a hair. They were pretty much tied near the end; kmel killed reveal at the beginning, then reveal killed kmel later on. By the last few rounds they were pretty much tied but kmel was just a little better especially in the last one or two sets.
K-mel got smoked.
@Actionpacked123 kmel will smoke you.
@starskreem09 it still doesnt look as good. this is a battle. not a open book quiz?? get real bro
Richard Morante it looks good when you go out and hit your movers and don’t repeat.. k-Mel just did the same moves over and over maybe he need a sheet to stop repeating
AND he lost lmao.
@rottenrockers yo homie don't talk to me like Im stupid. Know it in my heart? so what if he uses a cheatsheet? Yo listen to the fucking crowd.
