To my knowledge you only need a PS sub, I have the Lightroom/PS subscription and it works for me (of course it's only available in beta at the moment).
Hey Keith, look up quick mask tutorials. Basically you use a quick mask and draw an area with a X% opacity then when you turn quick mask off it selects the area. Let me know if that helps!
@@AndyFeliciotti I've always used GIMP for thumbnails and other photo work as I don't use it enough to justify paying for Adobe. This might be worth paying for though.
For Lightroom and Photoshop it's $10/m which I think is well worth it. But hey if your workflow is working probably not a big enough reason to change for the AI features.
I’ve been trying to select a lady with a Macaw on her shoulder . Ok I do select subject and do the Generative fill but it cut the Macaw out completely. I hope you don’t mind me asking . 😊
That’s a good video idea! You could make open a photo and make it 16:9 aspect, then run “remove background” then generate a background using fill that’s interesting. Sadly you’ll have to do your own typography.
Enjoyed your tips! The brown sculpture like form you stitched together looks very much like "fox and hound" sculpture at Princeton University. Where was that located?
Thanks for watching!
Let me know how you feel about Adobe adding AI features to Photoshop, excited or disappointed? Would love to hear!
🔥
❤😍
Great set of tips. Do you get the AI with just a PS sub or does it have to be the whole Cloud package?

@@AndyFeliciotti Many thanks, great news! Something to buy once I have my new Mac!
@@mikesrandomchannel you’re welcome! If you are a photographer the Lightroom/Photoshop for $10 a month is well worth it in my opinion!
Hey, can you go through the select with opacity here, I try it but it doesn’t work. I’m not sure which step I’m missing.

Amazing for removing. Adding, not so much.
What do you mean?!?! It's amazing at adding too!
awesome video! really helpful, loved it!
Happy you enjoyed it!
Whoa. This is pretty wild.
Right! Such a useful feature, I have a feeling we'll eventually have an option to describe edits we want to graphics/photos.

I enjoyed your tutorial and appreciated you thinking to remember to say hold down the shift when you want to continue to select people to remove them.
Happy to help!

I should have looked up the name before filming! It’s the “Richard Serra, Joe, 1999” at the Pulitzer in St Louis!
The one in Princeton was "hedgehog and the fox" also by Richard Serra 🙏🏽 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hedgehog_and_the_Fox_(sculpture)
@@SebAnt thank you for sharing! I’ll have to check it out when I’m in that area!
