this Photoshop AI update looks incredible. As someone passionate about AI and design, I'm blown away by the new features. The seamless integration of AI into creative workflows is truly game-changing. It reminds me of how platforms like SmythOS are revolutionizing other industries by weaving AI into everyday business processes.
Very cool - thanks for breaking down the new features! I've found myself using the generative fill tools to extend several images this week. Super useful.
All right, I will comment on anything else except the main topic, I plan to completely ignore the unmentionable. WOW! Adjustment brush, a tool that saves me from pressing 3 clicks, incredible Photoshop, what? THAT? I don't know what you're talking about, what's with the reference image generator? that thing that will steal our jo... WOW PHOTOSHOP NOW HAS A NEW FONT PANEL!!! OMG! nice one photoshop!
My practise on teeth whitening is NEVER make the teeth equal to or whiter than the whites of the person's eyes. That does not exist in a healthy natural person and instantly screams photoshopped. 😉 Who wants the teeth to be the focus of a face?
All these new features are great. However, I am wondering about something: what is happening with the Neural Filter? No change has been applied since a while. Is it to be replaced eventually with the generative fill functionality? For example, the possibility to apply long exposition is something that is in the list of future upgrades in the Neural Filter. Is it a future generative fill functionality or is it already there?
When Adobe launched Generative Fill, I, like many others, was also skeptical. But after using it for my professional work, there is no going back. All these features are excellent, I would say.
2:14 You can also move the generative fill layer to another location, scale or distort it, hit generate, and it will rematch the content to the background of wherever you moved it.
I've recently taken the leap, and subscribed to photoshop, having been a Captain Jack 7 seafarer my whole life before. But after watching your videos for years, I wanted to try my hand at the full features of the program. With you talking me through features, it becomes infinitely easier, and the learning curve is that much less steep. Also a thing I really appreciate about your content is, that you also make videos like this, where you discuss new features, and demonstrate one use for them. It makes approaching new things easier, and you provide just enough inspiration to let people try their hand themselves. Thank you for your content and time.
I'm surprised with all the advances in Photoshop, and now the direct integration with Adobe Fonts, that we still don't have a way to select text baked into an image, and have Photoshop identify the font, or offer the one we have installed (or available on Adobe fonts) and suggest the one most similar. Would be such a time saver.
I love your lessons and videos! Here's a possible missing feature in the new Firefly 3: Earlier, it was possible to generate changes to existing images by applying a partial overlay. There have been several youtube videos explaining how to use an added channel, filling it with a certain percentage of black (e.g., 50%, which equals gray), and then using that channel as the mask. In that way, I could use generative fill to make an existing image an oil painting or a water color, and adjust the intensity by changing the percentage of black used to fill the channel. I can't find a way to do that with the new changes, and I see this lack as quite serious. Am I viewing this correctly? Is there any equivalent feature in the new Firefly 3? Thanks again for your great teaching over the yeares!
thank you so much for showing your process, failures included. so many photoshop tutorials just show the perfect thing where everything works, which never ever happens. i love that you show realistic examples of what will happen. u try to gen fill w a backpack and hey it isnt a perfect gen fill. then what to do from there. most tutorials will jsut show the one perfect gen fill and then i go to try it and of course... thats not what acttually happens. so thank you SO much for showing real usage examples and how to go from each step as htings dont work perfectly.
Hi,your videos are amazing and the way you explain, makes it easier to understand and remember.I have a request, can you post any video for real estate interior and exterior editing.
Does the subject for such replacement needs to be cut out first to use it in Generative Fill, or can i use just pick an area of a reference image anyhow?
Thanks, it is a great tutorial, may I kindly request you to provide some guidance on the installation and use of Comfy-Photoshop-SD, Many thanks in advance
I love your channel for photo edition and other cool features brought by Photoshop. However, could you please recommend channels for graphic design or print design? For example, I struggle to understand how over impressions work when you don't want two colours to overlap in the final printed design. Thanks, and keep creating 😉
Thank you, another brilliant tutorial. When trying out PS Beta, with the adjustment brush tool selected, there is no "Select Subject" in the contextual bar. It shows only "Apply to Image". Can you help?
Thank you for the tutorial. By change, does anyone here know how to change the aspect ratio before generating it, either with presets or parameters the way MJ does it e.g. -- ar 6:19. I believe FireFly has the ability to preselect the aspect ratio, but I do not see it in PS Beta. Thanks in advance!
Good demo of these features. I only have a very old version, and using the tools i have would take me ages and you're showing same results in a couple clicks
Hi Unmesh, would you consider making a video dedicated to the crop tool? cause at every version it messes all the settings up, when you want expand the canva ect ect
At 9:25. I chuckled as he concentrated on the unnecessarily detailed chin of the girl in the striped dress, meanwhile the AI had drawn her arm punching through the sternum of the guy behind her! The AI still has a long way to go.
I don't have everything you have on your AI and I don't have it in the toolbar either like everyone else seems to have and I have the latest Photoshop Beta and Adobe Firefly. How do I set it up so that I have it the way you have it?
Does the newer AI actually recognize text-specified colors? I don't use Ps beta. When I type color prompts into my commercial rel. Generative Fill box, more often than not the colors produced are wrong (ex. I ask for whatever object in blue and all that's produced is red...).
I pay for PS but I don't have all those options after the update to beta? Speaking of the generative fill for now. (Haven't tried the other things yet) What to do?
Many thanks. Love the video. There are certainly a lot of things happening in the wide and woolly world of Ai. I noticed that you are on a Mac. Things don't seem to work quite the same way on a PC. For example, Select Subject doesn't appear on the Contextual Task Bar. The only option is Apply to Object. You have to go through the Menu Bar to Select Subject. Why, why, why do they have to complicate things???????????????????????
Please tell me why generative fill with intensity level does not work in Beta Version 25.9. (Q quick mask and Shift+f5 fill). Using it, it was possible to draw a simple image, which was then filled with AI generation. This works in version 25.7, but does not work in Beta 25.9.
I feel like you're the village voice for all of us. You understand the needs and wants, provide good criticism with your content and then they fix it. I have an image of all of them around the computer watching your video, taking notes and then they divide and conquer.
You put my thoughts to letters, it's exactly how I see it also. 😀

Holy HECK! These updates are fantastic! I love that they are folding in more Web aspects directly into the program. This is huge!
It's going to save so much time not having to go to adobe fonts to find fonts.

Clear, concise and informative.... excellent!!!
I am your very big fan. What a confidence & consistency in giving lectures! May God give you long life, sound health & prosperity.

Congratulations for 5M! Following for sooo long. ❤️
Well presented and great news to hear. Thanks for being there!!! Cheers, Mate
These are some exciting updates!
The Adjustment Brush looks awesome...reminds me of when Photoshop made the Gradient Tool work in real time.

I love using the adjustment brush for quick and easy teeth whitening.

The updated font panel is insane, the enhance quality is insane
Really very, very good features for concepting and mockups. This is going to save a lot of time.
These are some amazing upgrades! I will be installing the beta version again

There is an option to identify font from image in Photoshop
I'm having a lot of problems still with generative fill doing a bad job and making hands. Do you have any advice for this?
Generate similar is AWESOMEE
Agree!

9:01 with them jeans!
You studio setup is so fire with the blue and brown complimenting each side.
Soothing and useful video as always. You are looking sharper these days. Getting fit I suppose. Good on you master!
Finally they added generate similar and fill with reference options. Needed these 2 the most since we got AI features on PS.
how to turn photo to Painting with Generative Fill in the newest version? Your old way to do it doesn't work in new photoshop beta :(
Thanks ✨ I want to know how to correct hands and other bad details generated by AI.
hi there! is there a way to generate normal map from photo with ai?
i cannot tell u how helpful this is.
Great tutorial. My only problem was that I wasn't able to open up Photoshop Beta and regular Photoshop at the same time.
Just amazing!!!!! Im using Affinity Photo, but this is crazy!!!!!!!! maybe i will need to passing to this beta baby!
You are simply brilliant... Thank you for the effort you always make. You won't find it explained so simply and perfectly anywhere on the net 🎉
Unmesh always succeeds presenting new features so insanely interesting. Amazing teacher!
it is so wrd to listen a indish guy talkin english like notin, Respect bro😎😎😎

This is amazing! I have been embracing A.I. to enhance my overall work!
Really love your videos. Could you let me know how to start learning photoshop from beginning for portrait photography and skin retouching?
I love generative AI, but if a photo has some noise on it any changes in a photo look bad. Is there any solution?
Great video as usual! How about featuring Stylar next? Their AI features are pretty impressive.
Thank you Unmesh!
that was an epic update - thank you as always
Hi,your videos are amazing and the way you explain, makes it easier to understand and remember.I have a request, can you post any video for real estate interior and exterior editing.
Just when I think I have a grasp on AI some new feature is added...🤯
those are definitely some great improvements!
Would you consider doing a simple video in color separation for getting any file halftome ready for silkscreen printing?
Does the subject for such replacement needs to be cut out first to use it in Generative Fill, or can i use just pick an area of a reference image anyhow?
OMG!! thank you for showing the craziness that photoshop is offering!! great vid!!

Okay ngl that Adobe font feature is my favorite among those, finding & installing any new font was such a hassle.
Wow! Adjustment Brush!!
I just updated my photoshop but I can't find the image reference Icon in the contextual task bar. What should I do to bring it out.
Thank you, another brilliant tutorial. When trying out PS Beta, with the adjustment brush tool selected, there is no "Select Subject" in the contextual bar. It shows only "Apply to Image". Can you help?
WOOW..I find new features..but the first one -generate by reference- still unavailable on my CC. BIG THANKS!
Hello unmesh sir. I am your big fan. I love your photoshop tutorials very much.
Loooove the font update!!!
Awesome updates, hope it will be in regular PS soon 😊

Do I have the "more fonts" also available in Illustrator??
That comment was genius! Photoshop should name the next update "Captain Jack Sparrow" 😄😄
Thanks for sharing! Great to learn something every time I watch your video :)
Good demo of these features. I only have a very old version, and using the tools i have would take me ages and you're showing same results in a couple clicks
So many new AI innovations and yet what is really thrilling me is TypeKit inside of PS. (thanks for these videos !)
Your channel is amazing

Can you please make video on how we can use swatches panel in Photoshop
Amazing bro!!!
Adobe team has made again some Explosion after long time...Loved it😍 Thankyou Danda Sir Tamaari Vaat na thaay baapu😁
5:58 - improved background matching with latest beta
At 9:25. I chuckled as he concentrated on the unnecessarily detailed chin of the girl in the striped dress, meanwhile the AI had drawn her arm punching through the sternum of the guy behind her! The AI still has a long way to go.
Is there a plugIn you have that could remove halftone pattern in an old postcard I scanned?
Can you do an updated video on using camera raw filter for mockups it looks totally different from your old mockup videos
Ta for this, looks like I'll start using Kittl along with Canva 👍
Could it be that the beta version of Ps is only available in the US? I'm in Argentina and I can't find the option
I hope that Adobe is going to add a noise removal tool for JPEGs similar to the one that works with DNGs in Lightroom. It is just magical!
good brother always love to you
Thank you!
Brilliant as always!
Instead of that the adobe must update the LR C because after the last update it is so slow....
Everybody who works with this software for more than 20 years like myself, watching this magic tools happening it's mind boggling.
I use alot of color adjustments on my images, How do i bring back the white around the eyes and teeth?
Amazing!!! Thanks for another great video
Are there any copyright issues with the fonts?
Amazing! Installing Beta right now!
I don't have everything you have on your AI and I don't have it in the toolbar either like everyone else seems to have and I have the latest Photoshop Beta and Adobe Firefly. How do I set it up so that I have it the way you have it?

Will all of this eventually be available in regular photoshop?
I've tried this first feature. In my opinion we can say it is alpha function for now. But I have to admit the idea is great.
Nice Detailed Video
I pay for PS but I don't have all those options after the update to beta? Speaking of the generative fill for now. (Haven't tried the other things yet) What to do?
