That's actually a great idea if you've got an irregularly shaped larger lawn and a riding mower. I almost always do a slow/carefull pass around the yard outer edges and the trees in the middle. Makes it way easier to set up long straight cut Lanes that look much better from the road and the porch
Your yard is gorgeous! Glad to see you turning this into a series; the tree video was a treat. Now I'll track down your machinery restoration vids because this one is proof that watching you do absolutely anything is enjoyable XD
Wonderful and educating video Daggerwin! I’ve been looking for ways to improve my folks’ yard and I believe you’ve given me some more hope! Thank you sir and keep posting!
Lovely review on your little mower daggerwin brings back happy memories off the 90s when I was growing up living with my parents at the time and I used to mow my parents lawn to earn my weekly allowance and I remember using my dads briggs and stratton petrol mower And definitely remember using a small walking fertilizer spreader to make my parents lawn more healthy and lush you have a really lovely little mower there daggerwin I’m definitely looking forward to seeing your new ISEKI compact tractor in action in future videos definitely loving the ISEKI tractor I think £600 for the new stiga petrol mower is definitely worth it money well spent on a quality product 👍😀
Your grass has really thin blades compaired to the grass I've had here in the US. Im not sure if it would help but... whenever I've been cutting grass for too long in the exact same direction (of parallel lines), the grass tends to "lay down" like that when it gets cut. Whenever that happens, i usually mow it again a day or two later at 90° off from how I've been cutting it. I'll do that rotated mow pattern for the next regular mow or two. Seems to "reset" the grass or make it forget how to hide from the damage it gets from the mower. Like i said, I'm not sure if it's as much of a problem with thinner bladed grasses, but hope it helps.
A couple years ago I was mowing an area that takes me about 20 minutes and resulted in 3 - 4 bags of clippings. One day after finishing I emptied the bag and immediately started cutting at 90 degrees to the original to clean up the odd blade that had ducked the first time. That I got some clippings in the bag was not a surprise. What was a surprise I got a full bag on the cross cut.
You should link your review of the electric Stiga in the description. It's a thoroughly comprehensive review and a good watch! Does the Stiga have de-thatching capabilities because your lawn looks like it might benefit from it early next spring?
I have Stiga engine in my brand new Mountfield ride on. Engines good, but it just leaves far too much grass behind mulching. My 80s Westwood leave less with its home made mulching deck I did for it.
Great review, Daggerwin.😊😊
Lawn Mower Simulator in real LIFE, EVEN now with POV😂😂😂😂
Need these garden videos every week!

What a realistic series!!!
wow the GPS is working really good , straight line cuts amazing
Was kind of expecting you to do some form of headlands whilst mowing the grass 😄

We getting a pea harvesting video then? Need to get one of those oxbo harvesters.
Suprised you shared this on you're main channel and not your restorer channel.
He might have to start another channel just for the real life garden stuff. Mmmm Daggerwin's Garden Adventures?🤔
Haha maybe. Still strange he doesnt show his face in any videos though after all these years lol
@@robreesor5011 - There was one several years ago he was on a riding mower and there was several frames you could almost see his face.

Do have a link to the first video please thanks
would a verticutter not get rid of that invasive clover?
no high grass to cut.... just readycut....
Where did you buy the spreader from as can not find a decent one anywhere.
In my mind you’ve left something on courseplay while you are outside doing this
I get a swath on my mower when mulching, it catches where the plug is for the rear discharge is.
I survival roleplay coming back soon?
I thought you had a ride on tractor did you sell it for a hand mower 😂
I'm expecting great music when you're doing a time-lapse
Face reveal? Please🙏🏻 Im an OG
