Rusty Tow Hook Holes Fix

My tow hook/loop wouldn't thread into my front or back tow hook receiver on my 2013 Honda Fit. This is the process I went through to "fix" the holes.

Do you know the dimensions on your hook? I'm looking to get a new one and can't find the right size

74717-TF0-000 is the honda part number they are about $15-20 from the dealer
I believe the thread is m18x2.5 and you can find alternative ones from the internet but they are about the same price.
