Madou Sidiki Diabaté performed a full recital to a packed house on the 26th of September ,2018 at Auro Kitchen & Bar for a special SkillBox showcase.

In this 30-year-old’s hands, the kora is full of deception: It looks like a simple, even rustic instrument capable of basic sounds. But close your eyes and you hear many musicians in harmony.

I discovered the magical kora when I was watching Michael Palin on his travels across the Sahara Desert. He was travelling from Dakar to Bamako on the Bamako Express train. The background music was Toumani Diabaté playing the kora.
