I bet if Potter was on the first PP he would have close to that as well. A middle 6 type of player getting number 1 PP time on a great team is like a dream come true. Noesen also has over 80 hits which is impressive as well.
Byfield was not booted off the top line, he started the season as a center, the plan was to get him back to his natural position moving forward (which they should have always been doing instead of acquiring PLD) but he's been slow adjusting back to the position, he's been better lately, hoping he'll have a strong 2nd half of the season offensively. The good news is that he's been an exceptional PKer right from the get go.
Good shit. A small contract that’s aging beautifully is Aliaksei Protas (I know he’s a little before your cut off for this vid). 3.375 million a year over the next 5 for a guy on pace for 72 points this season
Tbh I am not worried about the Lafreniere deal. The rangers offense has been absolutely abysmal. I think he’ll bounce back once the team figures itself out whether that’s this year or next. Lafreniere is one of the few generating chances up until recently so I’m not too worried
Necas is someone I really wanted Verbeek to target in a trade this this past offseason. I thought he was so underrated these past few years. Bittersweet that we couldn't make it happen, but it's also vindicating for me based on how well he's played
@MikeBartner 😀 he looks a beast, his line It's almost usually the best, no matter who he's playing alongside with, and he seems like have improved his shot too
Timo Meier? Meh. Probably $1 mil per too much for my taste, but he always squeezed for the last dollar out of every contract. He's not even a top 5 player on his own team.
Stephan noesen before this season had 14 goals on 82 as his best, he’s already at 16 in 37 goals with NJ

Alex Vlasic extension is insanely underrated
Definitely!
The Sanderson extension has looked great despite his reduced production due to having Hamonic on his line

Utah picking up some great deals this year. Solid start with durzi and Marino there to inject more energy when they are healthy too.

STEEEEAAALLL of a deal
lets be real. Bouchard is doing everything to lower his value this year. not a legit #1 anymore
might help if he could play defense.
@@doaftheloafhe plays better offense, only for the opposing team.
Never was.
@@Your_Role_Model I’m okay with that, I don’t like the oilers.
@@doaftheloaf he helped my Cats win. He cool.

Merry christmas Mr Bartner.
Merry Christmas!
If LA put Byfield for sale Id beg beg Hughes to do a Dach+ for Byfield...But I dont think LA will or should trade him.

Draisaitls extension lowkey aging well considering he's been out shining McDavid this year
Not really out shining mcdavid he has 3 more points in 3 more games
Fair fair but his deal also is the biggest ever lol
@@MikeBartner it’s still an amazing deal for Edmonton
@@patricksullivan8165 especially cayse draisitals game should age amazingly and the cap is only going up
@ yea the contract is gonna age tremendously well
Not worried about slaf at all 👍👍👍 Slovak prince
For sure
love seeing the TK appreciation
For sure
Dylan Guenther is the man!
You should rank every teams first line
No mention on Protas deal? 3.3 until 2029 if I remember correctly
These are all post July 1st 2024 but yea that one is insane
@MikeBartner 😀 he looks a beast, his line It's almost usually the best, no matter who he's playing alongside with, and he seems like have improved his shot too
I think it’s too soon to dump on Laf’s deal. The whole team is ass; maybe build the team around him and things look up.
My hot take..Necas won't get 80 pts. and Aho will lead Carolina in pts. once again
Thompson on the Caps has such a cheap contract still. Will the Caps finally make him the number 1 instead of swithcing him and Lindgren every game....
6:22 you know what else is massive?
Swayman robbed the plug and ran off lol

Reino deal is 😱😾
