Good to see you back Mark, as a photographer with a publish or perish mind set I understand how easy it is to burn out. It is said "do what you love and you never work a day in your life!" In my experience if you rely on what you love for a living, it becomes a job (with all the associated pressures) and you can easily grow to dislike it.
@@MarkWattTechNice to see you back Mark! Any chance if you could refresh the Alexa actionable notification video? No matter what I tried it doesn't work. I know many others have the same issue. Thanks.
Just to add to the many comments, i've watched and enjoyed many of your tutorials, finally managed to get the NS panel Pro up and running with HA this evening too :-) really big thanks from me, cheers and keep life balanced, family first !
You are the reason i got into home assistant and i cant thank you enough for your amazing tutorials. I hope you do the tuya one again because right now i have literally 100 devices connected through the cloud integration and a bunch of automations on top of them. If there's a way i can transition to the local tuya integration without going insane. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks Mark. Great to have you back. Videos updates I’d love to see based on my recent struggles: 1. Mqtt - setup (particularly auth and getting host right) how to debug. How to create a sensor from mqtt platform. 2. Notification attachments and camera snapshots with mounted SMB storage. 3. Webhooks - demystifying the webhook ha docs. How to use curl to debug. Nabu casa webhooks. Using webhook json payloads to create custom sensors. Thanks again!! Hope all is well with the family.
Welcome back, always enjoy having a look at your content. I would enjoy understanding the process you went through to select your first printer. Grin and what you think the first printer should be after you went through the learning curve.
Hey, glad to see your back and doing well. Been a long viewer so hope you enjoy the YT ride and don't burn yourself out. BTW your local Tuya local Key extractor from your videos 2yrs ago has a bug it would be great if this could be fixed
Thank you! Feel free to drop me an email or a message over at discord. Had a lot of messages about this recently and would love to have a dabble with that code again :)
Good to see you up and about again. A request - Setting up a Sonoff Bridge Pro that has been flashed with Tasmota - how to add it to Home Assistant and then add devices. You have a good way of explaining things.
Good to see you Mark. 50k, no problem! Thanks for your content. Working on “Floor Plan”, with Sweet Home 3D. Tons of fun with CAD and looking forward to a U.I. using HA picture card. HUGE Fan. Take care, from Canada!
50K Lets gooooooo! Thanks for the support. Your project sounds cool. I did dabble with Sweet Home 3D back in the day. It's a fair bit of work but some of the dashboards people have created are amazing.
Happy to see you back Mark 😄 Take it easy and spend more (can't do that too much IMHO) time with your familiy. We love you too, but we can wait 😉 Thanks for the tutorials so far, they were quite useful to me 👍 For a new tutorial I'd like to ask if it's possible, technically possible even?, to make video on how to make a doorbell that consists of an Amazon speaker (Echo Dot in my case) that plays a ding-dong sound when a button is pressed. This without using the Nabu Casa cloud, as I can't afford an subscribtion 😥 I was able to find videos / howto's on how to use Text To Speech options, but not with playing a sound file / built in ding-dong sound. Maybe I overlooked something? Anyway, it would be very welcome. Thanks 🙂
glad your making videos again! i was just adding the alexa actionable notifications to my HA then read the comments, and turns out it doesnt work now lol would be awesome if you could do an update dude. i got right to the end! and, dead. ha
Good to have you back! I have started to try and play with the nspanel and nspanel pro. Maybe you can have a video for those with the best option for each as that space seem to have grown alot! And i cant seem to get it.
Good to see you Mark, I wondering how you were promted by my LaMetric Time screen going gaga. This week I recieved a new replacement LED panel from LaMetric and all is good in the world again. Looking forward to your upcoming content.
So good to see you back! I guess this is how it goes sometimes in life, it's good to have some time off and then start again, better! 3D printing is great too 🤩😍🤩 Also, what's up with the NS panel manager project?
Thanks mate. It's definitely been a much needed reset. I've still been in contact with the guys creating the NSPanel Manager. I actually missed the release live stream I had planned and also the follow up video. The project has had some updates and is still being worked on. The ones I'm using in my home are all currently broken (and have been for a while) so I do plan on addressing this and getting them going.
@@MarkWattTech Great! Hope there will be some good accomplishment soon with that project that I really like and would love to integrate it on a long term usage in my house.
In your Android TV notification tutorial, you mentioned you might try to figure out how to stream live surveillance video in a pop-up Android notification (if it's possible). I would LOVE that for my Sony TV (if possible).
Thanks man :) I went with the m5C. It's currently way cheaper than it was (around £340ish on Amazon UK). They have done a great job with making a plug and play 3D printer.
@@MarkWattTech love to know your thoughts. Think I’m gonna grab one over Black Friday worst case scenario although I can get it for 319 direct from Anker right now. What filament have you found best?
@@JBR.1974 eSun and SunLu PLA+s have been really good for me. The AnkerMake and Creality ones are also really good have nice finishes but they are double the price 😳.
@@MarkWattTech Something with ESPhome devices using 3D printed cases and applications would be awesome. Maybe some DIY curtain motors, using 3D printed parts. Not sure you how would convert that to content, but that would be cool. Also could add some designing into that with tools like Onshape ?
