Celtics fan here. I love Danny great gm who really knows how to build out a roster. Just knowing how Danny did it here I see him holding back this offseason and bottoming out for the loaded 25 draft. Of course if there is a trade to get a true number 1 then the jazz will be ready to compete hard core next season. But he knows the west is stacked and building threw the draft is the by far the best way to build a nasty contender
As a Blazers fan I am jealous that you guys landed one of the best GMs in the business. Danny knows what it takes to win a championship in this league especially as a small market team like SLC or PDX. You guys have sooooo many FRP's and you already have Lauri+Collin. I hope we can revive the Trail Blazers Jazz rivalry in the near future!
Sounds like Utah's front office and coaching staff really like Kris Dunn from what Danny Ainge was saying about him specifically when ask who stood out as far as glue guys of the future.......
Ainge is full of sh*t. He is too old and dont understand that utah is different than boston was. His way is tank rest of this decade, wanted or not. He cant get anyone good enough with his not-so-good 1st round picks, not via trades or not via picks. Better trade Lauri, he gonna be wasted in utah.
@@anoperatingpanda I disagree with you and i think you are simply wrong. However, we need to wait 5 years and only then we know who was right. I dont see how jazz can land good enough players to win. They have zero top picks atm and i doubt can they trade someone with they not-so-good 1st rnd picks. And they very likely cant sign any free agents either. Most good players simply sign new contracts and never become free agents. Those rare cases who does dont want come to utah. Only way Ainge get this done is hit jackpot one of those not so good picks. It may happen, someone may win lottery too. But that is very unlikely.
