There used to be a game called The Movies. It was by Lionhead Studios. It was essentially The Sims, except you make movies. (this looks like it is like that but leaning into it way more)
It's not that worse movies are coming out. Back in the day it was infinitely HARDER to make movies, when film was an awkward heavy physical medium that required huge clanking machinery... in other words, immense amounts of commitment and effort. Nowadays you can conceivably carry an entire movie making apparatus in a backpack (not a big theater film or anything, but still). By making the tools of artistic expression so much easier to use, a lot of people can express themselves in new and exciting ways, even creating new artistic forms never before seen by human beings. At the same time, it lets fame hungry idiots crap out their material into your poor, innocent eyeballs. Everything's a trade-off. That said I can't wait for Alien Crotch 18 to come to Amazon Prime man!
@@ChicagoReacts I'd unironically watch that movie. I'm not sure about Steve Carell, but it is your movie. Depending on how goofy you wanna make it it almost sounds like an Ernest movie. Carell can definitly play it more serious, but I feel he needs to play off of someone in either case.
