Hello, from Israel. There is a lot of depth within this poem, and these lyrics are absolutely mystical. What a great voice, Loreena Mckennitt has. What a great divine angel. The musical arrangement reminds me, especially in the end, the concept of the spiraling movement of the Circle of Love (also, the circle of life), which William Butler Yeats, wrote in this poem: "There the Loves a circle go, The flaming Circle of our days, Gyring, spiring, to and fro, In those great Ignorance leafy ways" Yeats elaborated in his book A Vision a system in which geometrical figures are moving within two cones, interpenetrating each other, or intertwined in their movement within each other. These cones are also coined Gyres, and according to the system they control the course of human history, in frequent cycles, which were divided by Yeats to eras of the history of mankind. So, as a result, Yeats imbued in his poems, that symbol of the gyre, including another personal poem, which moved me very much: The Gift of Harun Al-Raschid. And of course, his famous poem, The Second Coming. In regard to the combination between Yeats's poem, Loreena Mckennitt's musical arrangement and voice and the images, taken from the Lord of the Rings, about Legolas, this is very masterful and brilliant. Also, very enchanting. At least, to me.
Excellent selections, resolution, & timing (love the coronation slow-flirty blink *sigh*) Fades and zooms worked beautifully with the music. Thank you so much for all the effort! Ana Lib Elf
For those who do not know. Legolas means Green leaf and his actual name is Laiqualasse and along with his father Thranduil, are the only grey elves that are inside evergreen and he is even older Galadriel(Atariel) Which is even older than the moon itself. Of course since she even got to see the flower that became the moon an the fruit that became the sun and were sent up into the sky and these two fell from the two trees of valinor when it was their time to end.. It was all meant to happen.
*bows* Katharwen, you have put together some of the loveliest of the Legolas, or any LotR videos I have seen. Thank you so much. The music and the images together the way you put them makes me feel so nice inside. Thank you.
love it! for those who wanted lyrics it was written by poet w.b. yeats in 1893 for his life long love maude gonne-you can find lyrics on any poetry site- thanks again for this awesome video..
I think it's cool how you use stills in with the movie bits. (I don't have any clips to ork with in my videos yet, so it's a great encouragement to see a well-made video with lots of stills in it. The video is a little long, but probably Orlando/Legolas fans enjoyed it more than I did, hehe.
I'm in love with legolas Greenleaf prince of mirkwood he's my man legolas is mine i assure you that legolas is mine he's my man i love you legolas my love my elf prince lady jackqueline evenstar × legolas Greenleaf ❤ ❤ ❤ 💋 💋 💋
Nice job! Orlando's best role in a movie by far. He makes a way better elf than he does a pirate. The elven prince lives forever in our hearts!
