    Having used the LC Interlocking bench a lot, I would suggest building your model up, then selecting all of the parts you wish to include in the slot function, add all of the parts at one time, set the material thickness and laser kerf, then, as you select faces set the number of tabs as you go. That will make a far more efficient work cycle. I can go from start to export on a custom 9x12x6 inch box in about a halfhour.

      It is a great workbench. I have made so many boxes that way.

      It's actually not that bad once you get the process down

      Less work than modeling those tabs by hand.

      ​The LC Interlocking WB has a box generator tool included.
      Also, if you select all the parts and add them to the project at once it's an easier workflow.
