Absolutely spot on mate and it’s a cracking build. Sold my T4 self build as I wanted a bigger van. Bought an old low miles xlwb sprinter. Spent money on a new dometic fridge, two fiamma fan roof vents, a fiamma water tank and pump etc, a couple of 100w solar panels, two cheap lead acid leisure batteries etc etc etc. Nearly all the internal timber was scrap/reclaimed plus a fair bit ripped out of a caravan. Anyway, kept a record of every penny spent and the total including the van was a touch over 6k. Was offered 11k for the van last year, but wouldn’t part with it…. My bro spent seventy odd thousand on a new van and immediately covered everything to ‘to keep it nice’, bugger that! It’s for using and enjoying! Wishing you and your family many happy miles mate.
