All battle rappers have a couple dope written lines to toss in and freestyle off of, I've never seen someone not reuse at least one line. For the haters saying they've heard some of ems lines before. Duh. It's part of battles/freestyling.
I love Eminem, but I arrived to this video because is the unique video of their battle with Otherwize, and I heard in another video (spanish) which Em purchase this video after lose this battle a time later, and is impossible to find it entire battle on the network, probably we never will know which stuff said Otherwize, that won that battle. But thanks to this battle, Eminem gives a tape to Dean Geastlinger, which worked on Interscope and show the tape to Jimmy Lovine, and later Lovine send the tape to Dr Dre. This was the great moment because all we know Eminem and Slim Shady. Rap God!!

So glad I found this! I’ve been arguing with my sons friends who wasn’t even born then that EM is one of the best rap battler of all time on the spot! He keeps arguing with me he can’t and so need to stop watching 8 mile! Lmao
Far too many comments saying he pre writes his battles is BS! What MC doesn't go into a battle without some pre-arranged responses to different situations and disses? The skill is in the delivery, the timing, and being able to spit a verse in the moment with a mix of on the spot fire to make each bar unique whilst thinking of new ones, linking it all up and taking in the situation and the surroundings and the crowd and the person tryna better you! Not to metion being able to create some complex and imaginative rhymes like he does! I'd imagine the white comments would instantly elicit the facial tissue response, he was probably rubbing his hands with glee when someone tried that diss knowing he had a response ready made to make his opponent look silly and that no one in that room had heard before. Recycled rhymes are only recycled when everyone has heard them, having some stuff pre ready and pre made to reply to the disses only adds to his genius! As I'm sure it would to all battle rappers!! Em is a legend and deserves the respect he gets and the deal with Dre after his performance! The man is a superstar and i will enjoy listening to his genius for many years to come!!
everyone is using prewritten shit, but it doesn't change the fact that 95% of all these versus were prewritten. he's good at freestyling yes, but hes not THIS good.. no one is.. you can come up some amazing lines sometimes on the spot with zero thought, but you cant do an entire fucking verse, 3 -5 times in a row, where almost every single bar is deep with so much thought put behind it. it's a rap battle, and that's fine, but it's annoying when it's considered a "freestyle" when it simply isnt.
You know it's Eminem because of his style of rapping. 100% authentic. And you can hear subtle lyrics that he used in 8 mile and his future to be breaking record songs. unreal. thanks for sharing! this made my day!

4 years short of 30 years and still no rapper dares to battle him, cuz EM shreds not MCs but their carrers, you know who you are, give it up for the 🐐. im still rocking with the eminem show.
Gimme that mfkn mic gets me every time lol mediator was not playin
fucking funny haha
Yo Thats 2 pac line went over SO many peoples heads, that right there was the best line.

Crazy how if you know Em's story, this LITERALLY the definition of the phrase "Rappin' like you gotta pay the rent"
And in 2023 People think they can take Em in a rap battle? Good Luck!
😂
He isnt as skilled a battle rapper as he was then plenty people could be him now and some did then, doesnt mean hes bad just not untouchables
Even then, his current level of skill is leaps and bounds above this.
@@odytrice he hasn't battle rapped since the 2000s and he's not as good a rapper as he was in the 90s and 2000s
Second beat is Volume 10’s pistolgrip pump… one of the most underrated albums ever.. Hiphopera!
“This beat is wack as fu*k, this sh*t fit you perfect..” ayoo 🤣🤣🤣
its a classic song by the jungle bros tho that line was actually wack haahaha
@@mrtubby47 i liked the beat but i like the line even more
@@mrtubby47 That beat was trash 😂
@@MrEAW56 then you aint into hip hop. In the clubs in the late 80s early 90s that song made the cyphers HOT!
@@yesmyninja6850 that line was garbage and otherwise exposed him. After otherwise was done with him they trashed the whole competition. Couldnt even do the 5 on 5 team battle cause Project Blowed served em too hard
This gets me pumped up at any time of the day.
And there are still rappers today that want beef with Eminem like man... This guy was beating everyone in rap battles, battling is where he came from
Eminem lost the Rap Olympics. Otherwize beat him.
Imagine being one of those contestants. They can literally tell stories about rapping against Eminem before anyone knew the name… that’d be so dope.
Imperator, Dream Nefra, and Otherwize told their stories in Riddlore's book Born a Villain, and Otherwize's book will be out this year.
All battle rappers have a couple dope written lines to toss in and freestyle off of, I've never seen someone not reuse at least one line.
For the haters saying they've heard some of ems lines before. Duh. It's part of battles/freestyling.
Otherwize, who beat Eminem, was actually freestyling off the dome. Eminem was using about 50% written rhymes.
@@parker_pubsprove it
That razor-slit bar and the one right after that were crazy holy shit
3:31 That beat was wack af lmaooo.
Lol the 90s were a strange time for music
I can barely make out what it is, does anybody know what its called?
@@semimad100 you mean the late 90s? i love the 90s
@@Quake2815 no, all of it. the 80's were weird too, just in a different way
I actually know the name if that beat 😂😂😂😂
I love Eminem, but I arrived to this video because is the unique video of their battle with Otherwize, and I heard in another video (spanish) which Em purchase this video after lose this battle a time later, and is impossible to find it entire battle on the network, probably we never will know which stuff said Otherwize, that won that battle. But thanks to this battle, Eminem gives a tape to Dean Geastlinger, which worked on Interscope and show the tape to Jimmy Lovine, and later Lovine send the tape to Dr Dre. This was the great moment because all we know Eminem and Slim Shady. Rap God!!
1:36 he said that in the deleted 8 Mile rap battles against the girl!
I noticed that too
26 years of pure Eminem magic finally payed off congratulations 👏👏👏👏 we your fans and family members are so proud of you thank you for coming home good luck 🤞 at the mtv video music awards 2024
This is just dope!
how you been
Yooo this was epic!!
Freestyle goes soo hard the host has to snatch the mic from em 😆
Yooo Em was truly incredible on the mic in these freestyles. So humoristic and humiliating lyrics lol
wow it like a mirror of the last scene from 8 miles.
Yo that is spectacular! Rollin
Take em away i ripped him like some paper mache. Just the best rhymer in rap history he has to be.
this vid piece is pure gold
“If you try to turn my facial tissue into a racial issue” 💀 God Mode 🙌🏻

@@juggalofred1533 yet how u can comeback after that line.. that line is killer..
So glad I found this! I’ve been arguing with my sons friends who wasn’t even born then that EM is one of the best rap battler of all time on the spot! He keeps arguing with me he can’t and so need to stop watching 8 mile! Lmao
Em is great, but he was beaten by both Otherwize and Juice.
@@humanbean3come ready or go home that's all it is.
thats cool and all but its just weird to call it a freestyle and not just a rap battle or a rap. @@jhammaster

Blowing it up ! Always! No-one can compare!
I have to come to pay homage to these men and women that sacrificed themselves against eminem

I would like to see Eminem do a reaction to his old clips back then

You know it's Eminem because of his style of rapping. 100% authentic. And you can hear subtle lyrics that he used in 8 mile and his future to be breaking record songs. unreal. thanks for sharing! this made my day!

No one talks about how Em got ate up by the Blowdians!!!! Shout out Rifleman aka Ellay Khule
I really wish the full version was published and not just Em's verses.
It'd be really interesting to see how Otherwize beat Em.
I found out who has the professional footage and who has the bootleg audio. I hope they will be released eventually.
@@parker_pubs WHOOOO?!
@@SpaceViking1 Jason Mallory has been public about having the bootleg audio. He shared a clip with me which I authenticated, and I believe he really does have it -- but he's asking for $10,000. I ain't that rich.
I'm not sharing the name of the person with the professional footage, since it is alleged that he basically stole it from Wendy Day.
Full details in Riddlore's book Born a Villain.
@@parker_pubs Oh, shit. That sounds awesome! Yea, I gotta get all those books. Thanks for your work! Sooner or later someone with money should make a move... Also: would love to hear this Rap Olympics East Coast vs West Coast battle Jason Mallory mentioned!
