Installation is same no matter what size condenser but customer cost is bigger of course. Guardian is York/JCI product.
was that a red light ? I would have done exactly as you did Lav , get it back up and running assuming that's what the owner wants
Steve said “flipping red light. I’m going”. Lol
Love your response to the back room comments.. “well no $h!! It aint right!.. but what you gonna do?” Lol
Steve's fine practical philosophy applies to all aspects of life !!
Giving it the ol’ how ya’ doin’ mama! Nice work Steve! 👍👍
Better than what I find … I usually find 5 tons outside on a 3 ton indoor unit.
Actually, in high humidity areas undersizing the evap cool is a good practice, but you don't want to go too far.
Da Bears! Da Bull! Gonna go back wid a couple of dem.
Your absolutely right Steve all you can do is make suggestions at the end of the day it's the customers decision cause it's their house their money.
I liked qnd subscribed just because you said it's not my money I don't get to make the decisions and you had to do the best you could to make it work how it was. I know that's not easy and it just adds to your character to be that way. Wish I had you working on my moms unit a few years ago when they told her they couldn't get parts for it anynore.
He thought it was an oven...he was cookin mama!
Hi Steve, sounds like Fritz is making the rounds again, Joe Capo.
It’s the fuzz 🤣. Too funny
Good advice if the customer doesn't want to spend the money that's on them. Good video as usual steve
Steve, I'd definitely trust you with my house. Reminds me. My monthly filter change is probably due.
Had a customer just wanted to know what was wrong with the unit (I am retired 24 years ago due to injury) it was the old york MC system, made my list told the customer what was found, he asked what would I do unit was old to start. Told him if it were me I would cut it out and curb it..
I hate attic boards not screwed down.. its nuts..
Is that capacitor mounted to blower normal? Looks like someone added that. Weird shit.
that's normal
Steve is an advocate for the work'in man!!!!
O have a resided ranch with an addition. I have 2 furnaces & 2 ac units. Works better that way.
I appreciate the video's, it gives me a better understanding of how my house system's work... dont worry I promise not to try to repair my hvac, I will call a licensed professional for that. It would be nice if you included the cost of some of the service calls so the average homeowner doesn't get taken advantage of.
18:10 I have Hagerty insurance for my older vehicles.
I do...
@@petero2693 Great rates, and they don't have to be over 25, one of mine is a 1998.
Why test a puffed capacitor?
Good job Steve keep up the good work
This isn't the 1st broken Rodeo that is out there. There is a ton just waiting to break down and find. If they don't want to spend the money, offer them to find who put it in abd call the inspection office and report them. Let the homeowner do that crap.
It would be nice if all units used the same size capacitor.
no heat strips is it suppose to be a Heat Pump
I love how these people call you to fix something then they tell you how it should or shouldn’t be
My thing in the field is if it was running like that get it to how it was. If theybmade it work i can too. May be more costly in the long run but im there to repair and call it a day.
My Parent's Train Gas pack jumped the tracks about a year ago. The air conditioner part fine, but the gas furnace part is rusted out.
