Peter I have to say that you are making some very important videos. You are showing America in a completely unique way. I really enjoy it. Please continue.
when you mention politicians on a video that has nothing to do with politics you're the one who is mixing politics and people. Also, politics are necessary for a society so stop typing comments like this.
I actually discovered his music through your channel. I heard it in one of your Iran videos and had to check it out. Not only do I love his music but it has opened me to other eastern style artists as well. Never realized how much I liked that sound. Thanks Peter and thanks Asadi!
Iranian are awesome 🇮🇷🇺🇸 we hope that day come that our politicians from both countries stopes playing with each other And make peace between the two countries
Great video! It would be great to see how the cultural lifestyles of Iranian Jews of California differ from the Hasidic Jews of New York. Iranians have a very fascinating and rich history in America, especially in LA. It would be nice to explore their cultural and religious customs, values, traditions and expectations.
Dude, you need to write a book about the experiences of this unique, diverse, extraordinary country, USA. Where foreigner's mission to come here...And if they bring not only their culture, but their political beliefs of their mother country. Also, Americans who are multi generations. Like the white, and black America. Your channel opens up so many great discussion from your experience as a traveler, as well as meeting people who came to this country.

Yeah, our government is horrible also. Biggest lesson of this century has definitely been that people are not the politics of their government. As someone born from an Iranian dad and American mother who grew up in Fargo, ND I feel a lot like ASADI and am very happy he is making that in the middle music for us American/Iranians!!!!!
I do too. I’m in America. It is the governments and corporate interests that create the conflicts in this world, not the People. I like to think that most people want peace. Your culture is beautiful and intriguing, hope to see it some day. Much Love!
I'm Iranian and I hardly ever listen to traditional music of Iran. I always listen to Persian rappers or American rappers, but when i heard her musics,I so like them and I just want to listen that I hope to always be successful Danny❤❤🇮🇷
Happiness is not a destination, it’s the journey and this man is happy on his journey . We all say when I get the degree , when I get that job , when I buy that house ... guess what you’ll not be happy when you get those things because you didn’t learn how to find true happiness

Just wanted to point out something here that might not be 100% relevant to this video, the VAST MAJORITY of Persians/Iranians are very secular and all they care about is just Good thoughts, Good words and Good deeds, these three principles are in their veins.
I went to the Persian festival in Portland in 2013 and had saffron/rose flavored ice cream. My initial reaction was that it reminded me of my grandmas perfume, literally, but then the flavor settled in and the aftertaste was incredibly "soft". I know taste wouldn't usually be described as a feeling, but that's what it was. Super interesting. Such a fascinating culture.
Love the diversity of L.A. So many different cultures here, living side by side. Which translates into some of the best food in the U.S. Right down the street from Raffi's is Carousel Restaurant, another wonderful Middle Eastern place.
@Peter Santenello - thank you so much for doing this piece and your entire series on Iran 🇮🇷- I found Danny just the other day thru watching your series. I am a EDM trap lover and Hebrew learner; working on producing music with Middle Eastern influence. Danny is just incredible!!! What an inspiration! Unique - a gem - I could go on. Keep producing great content. Keep it real and keep evolving. God bless you all! 😉👍💥💙🕊✌️🙏
Loooooove Middle Eastern fusion music. It's by far the best butt kicking treat for your soul. Glad to discover Asadi to add him to my personal list of fusion legends
Last week I was searching everywhere online to order an Iranian Cetar as a decor for my lounge. They're so difficult to find; and the ones I located had to be shipped from either the US or Turkey, making them simply too expensive. In the end I opted for a Violin; it looks good in the corner of the room. And yes, ofcourse at some point I will check out Danny Asadi's homepage. He seems like an interesting, level-headed artist. Good luck to him. AND, Peter as always doing a sterling job.
My family and I are eating here right now lol. I did not remember this place except for this video/interview and I remembered how the inside looked. I’m from Ohio and we’re visiting my wife’s family. What a cool coincidence to eat here after seeing your interview and have the background trigger my memory, I think I’ll have what Danny Asadi had 👍🏼
It's so weird, you came to Iran but no one taught you how to use spoons and forks to eat Iranian style food (especially for rice dishes). So let me teach you right now :) First you have to hold the spoon that you use to write. And the fork in the opposite hand. Use a spoon to pick up food or slice food (instead of a knife). A fork is also used to help control the spoon, for example you can more easily put some food into the spoon with the help of a fork, or use a fork to hold food when you want to slice a piece of food with spoon such as meat. Of course, the use of forks is optional Good luck, and love you from Iran🇮🇷❤
Peter I have to say that you are making some very important videos. You are showing America in a completely unique way. I really enjoy it. Please continue.
