I love the bins! Our price is $1.59 a pound. And our local thrift store is $1 for all clothes! Sometimes they do a BOGO! Regular goodwill stores here are way too high! They are pricing sought after brand jeans at $15!
Wow!! Yeah my goodwills are still a decent option, but other thrift stores are going crazy with the pricing. I forgot how nice the bins prices can be haha!
I believe your Martha Stewart chenille "thing" is a bedspread, reminiscient of the vintage chenille bedspreads from the 50s-70s. Before everyone had comforter, quilts or down blankets with duvet covers, people had bedspreads, which were big enough to cover the bed, the mattress and the box spring, frequently made of chenille with twisted fringe. Not sure what size yours is, but it would be fun for a guest bed maybe? and yes, Untuckit used to be a good $40 flip maybe 3-4 years ago, now they're just meh. And do you have a business mail address or PO box? need to send you something lol
Okay that's what I was thinking! And thanks for the advice about Untuckit! Would you mind sending me an email? (allisonleigh64@gmail.com) I can give an address that way. You are too sweet!!
Love that you never know what you can find at the bins! Great to find something for yourself! ❤ I have a few outlets in my area. Some are more aggressive than others. Always more enjoyable to go with someone.
That rug- oh my gosh!!! A totally unexpected find, I’m sure! It’s very pretty. I so appreciate that you showed your bread & butter finds from the bins. I’ve only been to the bins by me once but I wasn’t thrilled with my finds. They were ok. But I am going to go sometime soon & see if I have better luck. Thanks for the video!
thank you!! yeah iIsell mostly bread and butter items and am still able to make a nice profit! I have more of a quantity over quality business model at the moment, but it works, and I'm glad I can share that with others!
My son lives in Columbus planning on being there in September for his wedding. I may try to hit some thrift stores before the wedding😂 I enjoy your videos! Love your beautiful leather sofa. Where did you get it??
I'm genx and almost fell on the floor when you held up that Forenza jacket! Lol I'm pretty sure it was mine in middle school. And how cool is it that it's in such good condition. Forenza back then was all the rage. It was comparable to how popular free people is today. I think they even made shoes. Love the rug! And btw, we used to live in Columbus, I miss it so much.
@@CottagevilleCozies Yea, when we left it was starting to grow. It was kind of sad because we loved the mom n pop vibe. We lived in Clintonville :) In NC now, totally different life all together. Love your videos!
Could that Marth Stewart "blanket" be a tablecloth? I wouldn't worry if it is. I have a beautiful hand made tablecloth dropped at the end of my bed in my guest room and always get completely on it 😉
I was thinking that but was thrown off because it's so big!! But just based off the thickness, it probably is. Hahah I love that!! And then you can always pull it and use it as intended

@@CottagevilleCozies Yes, bringing my cost of goods down has helped me get over my anxiety of being elbow to elbow with people 🤣🤣
I do the same with Catholic images that I find at the bins. I found a wooden cup with the last supper engraved on it. It’s just gorgeous.
amazing!! so sad it ended up there, but im glad you could give it a new life!

Here in New Jersey we are at $1.29 per pound
very nice!!
Forenza used to be sold at The Limited back in the 80's/90's. Definitely retro/vintage
very cool! absolutely one of my favorite pieces!
Where is this bins located?
this is in Columbus, Ohio (Brice Rd) :)
Indians changed their name to Guardians, so they don’t make anything with that name anymore
that's true!
Cool rug! Good job
it's so beautiful!
