You should treat the second match as a saving throw. Like if someone's double book and lose the first match but wins the second, they can stay. If the CPU book someone fired and they win,they can come back. Something like that.

But when it comes to bigger matches like triple tag team or even a Elimination Chamber match you could lose a lot of people real quick! So I’d probably would have done it by who actually gets pinned or the first to be pinned!?! I have no idea how you would do that in a MITB match though?!?
