I met DAC back around 2000 @ InCahoots in Saint Charles MO. I worked part time putting together the stage for a ton of country artists. He wasn't a good dude on any level. JMO I did enjoy hanging out with some of his band members.
He's just a blunt honest man. Can be a real problem for some people 🙄. But I went to one of his concerts in Tulsa Oklahoma my baby brother got us tickets front stage and I was pumped! However my brother was wasted on Xanax and vodka it hit him once we got to the concert. Security was escorting us to the stage and Damn my brother fell and couldn't get up.We got told to leave I said he can wait in my car pass out. Nope I was responsible for him. Oh I was pissed David allan Coe threw me a shirt and I still have it. But I never let my brother forget about it and gave him hell. He is a coward and I have never let him offer me anything again. I know that I was never going to get a chance to see him in concert again. So I just jam out too all his music 🎶. Love his music..
