In a faculty meeting, I tried to push back on my university's COVID hysteria, citing, among other things, the Great Barrington Declaration. One of my colleagues said, rather brusquely, "that's a minority view." I agreed--that was clearly true, after all--thinking I didn't have to add: "Of course that doesn't mean it's false"... At any rate, when a member of the religion department argued that there shouldn't even be religious exceptions to the vaccine mandate, I could see I was wasting my time. I decided just to keep my powder dry that day. I did ask our provost whether there would be an exception to our mandate for those who'd already had COVID. She basically said, "well, if someone had incontrovertible, medically-certified proof that they'd had COVID, confirmed by several sources, then, I guess maybe we might consider that, but..."

The jumping out a window challenge is an obvious but absurd example. If the associate justice wanted more likely examples, they could have selected the Tide Pod challenge, which was an obvious joke or gag, although a few younger apparently actually did try to eat Tide pods, or the cinnamon challenge, which a fair number of people actually did, and while many people suffered little after-effects, some did, and one child died from it. Yet how many of us, government officials included, realized how dangerous the cinnamon challenge could be? People in government are no smarter than people in the general population. Government officials realize how dangerous something is at just about the same time as everyone else does. So government legislation in such cases is like closing the barn door after the animals have gotten out. It looks like the government's done something good to save people, but the actual results of the legislation is very limited in value, as it is essentially telling people to not do something that they've already stopped doing. It's good to see pushback against the pandemic nonsense after the fact. But it bothers me that the history of the pandemic is already written with the government's mandates and lockdowns being considered good and necessary for dealing with the pandemic. Rewriting that history to be more accurate is going to take a lot more than a lawsuit and some discussion in obscure places. And that means that future pandemics will have the same government overrreach and restriction of liberties as Covid did. Mistakes made, lessons not learned.

What are the all cause mortality rates for vaccinated versus unvaccinated from 2021 through 2023? There was a 40% rise in all cause mortality for ages 19 through 64 beginning in 2021: the year the very very safe and very very effective mRNA vaccines were introduced. Also, the trumpeted 95% risk reduction for "symptoms" only was RELATIVE risk reduction. The ABSOLUTE risk reduction was 0.8%.
"Fumbled" suggests accidental. In any given emergency one can be expected to make mistakes, the odds are 50:50, which means you're going to get somethings right. They got nothing right. The odds of getting nothing right suggests intent.

My b/f and I were deathly ill on a European Cruise in 2017, we never get sick. Two years later we're watching TV and they are talking about this virus going around and describing the symptoms, which was exactly what we experienced. So, yes it was affecting people, before it was public, many on our ship were sick, I could hear the coughing as I walked down the hallway. I still had breathing problems and felt my lungs had been damaged for four years afterwards. I was given two antibiotics on the ship which saved me. I believe it was deliberately released, a huge wealth grab, nothing made sense. Close mom and pop store's who see less than 100 customers a day but Walmart, Costco big retailer's, who draw thousands a day remained open!? It was a Plandemic, vaccines were already in development. Dr.J has been one of the most; constant \ consistent, moderate, level headed, reliable, and honest actors throughout the past 4+ years.
He and his GBD co-authors were early to the party and spot on. That document, which bravely outlined and recommended an alternate course from what top PH officials and governments were pushing stands up exceptionally well in retrospect. All because they used long standing, well known, medical and PH ethics + epidemiological principles.
Isn't it wrong to force parents in NYS to vaccinate their children with the penalty of being banned from all state funded schools including private schools? Parents should be able to decide. There is no informed consent only forced consent. Unvaccinated people are not contagious. Not everyone does well with vaccines. Medical exemptions are close to impossible. This is a violation of basic human rights.

He tried to “pre-bunk” Dr. B by claiming he knows because he’s spoken interviewed RFK Jr, an interview where Nick expressed undying sympathy for the government to rule on jab safety even though RFK Jr offered overwhelming evidence demonstrating the safety trials were never conducted anywhere close to honestly. Nick appears unreasonable and quite pathetic or, if Nick were a jab and I a historically accurate representation of a safety panel, I’d say Nick IS a perfect Libertarian specimen who lives by integrity.
If Nick has any integrity, he will retract his statement and issue an apology to RFK Jr.
The government acted as they were responsible but also as they weren't while also making sure they and their friends could not be held accountable. In other words. Shit show.
Bhattacharya seemed to me to be one of the few prominent voices of reason in the public health sphere during pandemic hysteria. In a faculty meeting, I tried to push back on my university's COVID hysteria, citing, among other things, the Great Barrington Declaration. One of my colleagues said, rather brusquely, "that's a minority view." I agreed--that was clearly true, after all--thinking I didn't have to add: "Of course that doesn't mean it's false"... At any rate, when a member of the religion department argued that there shouldn't even be religious exceptions to the vaccine mandate, I could see I was wasting my time. I decided just to keep my powder dry that day. I did ask our provost whether there would be an exception to our mandate for those who'd already had COVID. She basically said, "well, if someone had incontrovertible, medically-certified proof that they'd had COVID, confirmed by several sources, then, I guess maybe we might consider that, but..."
The minority view was given by our top scientists. Bureacrats and politicized scientists shoved the real scientists out and took over the narrative with the help of the media.
After all vaccine (injection) injuries, how can you still call this product a success?

-has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet)
-not phony
-incorruptible, cannot be bought or bullied
-thoughtful and introspective
-deeply considers problems and possible solutions
-vocal about the corruption of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government
-vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex)
-wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the corruption within the military industrial complex
-wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations
-vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media

-passionate about investing in regenerative farming practice
-passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods'
-wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc
-will immediately close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons)
-will send the necessary Asylum Judges to the border to expedite the process for legal migrants
-has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent costs down dramatically)
-due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures
-due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government

In fact, he would have been doing this before Oct. 7. (Simply yelling 'apartheid', 'genocide', etc is *not* in service of an actual *solution* - ask Hamas)
-and unlike anyone from the 2 major parties who supports Israel, RFK Jr. would never be lead by the corrupt (and disgusting) sheer financial interests of the Military Industrial Complex when it comes to *any* of America's foreign policy; including with Israel

It's interesting that in a conversation about censorship based on politics Nick uses the retraction of the RFK Rolling Stone article as evidence that the article is/was wrong, never questioning if the retraction was politically motivated.
And he used a lie, intentionally misrepresenting his interview with RFK Jr, to try to “pre-bunk” the doctor into not refuting his smear but that didn’t work for him. Dr B understands that criticizing the corrupted safety studies and being unwilling to trust an item produced by the corrupt study, doesn’t make you anti that product. Nick on the other hand would agree about the corruption but then turn around and say “but it has vaxx on the label and everyone knows a vaxx is ‘safe and effective’.”

The jumping out a window challenge is an obvious but absurd example. If the associate justice wanted more likely examples, they could have selected the Tide Pod challenge, which was an obvious joke or gag, although a few younger apparently actually did try to eat Tide pods, or the cinnamon challenge, which a fair number of people actually did, and while many people suffered little after-effects, some did, and one child died from it. Yet how many of us, government officials included, realized how dangerous the cinnamon challenge could be? People in government are no smarter than people in the general population. Government officials realize how dangerous something is at just about the same time as everyone else does. So government legislation in such cases is like closing the barn door after the animals have gotten out. It looks like the government's done something good to save people, but the actual results of the legislation is very limited in value, as it is essentially telling people to not do something that they've already stopped doing.
It's good to see pushback against the pandemic nonsense after the fact. But it bothers me that the history of the pandemic is already written with the government's mandates and lockdowns being considered good and necessary for dealing with the pandemic. Rewriting that history to be more accurate is going to take a lot more than a lawsuit and some discussion in obscure places. And that means that future pandemics will have the same government overrreach and restriction of liberties as Covid did. Mistakes made, lessons not learned.

What are the all cause mortality rates for vaccinated versus unvaccinated from 2021 through 2023? There was a 40% rise in all cause mortality for ages 19 through 64 beginning in 2021: the year the very very safe and very very effective mRNA vaccines were introduced. Also, the trumpeted 95% risk reduction for "symptoms" only was RELATIVE risk reduction. The ABSOLUTE risk reduction was 0.8%.
This is really important for people to understand. I didn’t understand it until recently. It’s a good way of cheating when you’re conducting research.
"Fumbled" suggests accidental. In any given emergency one can be expected to make mistakes, the odds are 50:50, which means you're going to get somethings right. They got nothing right. The odds of getting nothing right suggests intent.

I mean, they're able to develop the vaccine quickly but there is no long term data with the vaccine efficacy and harm.
My b/f and I were deathly ill on a European Cruise in 2017, we never get sick. Two years later we're watching TV and they are talking about this virus going around and describing the symptoms, which was exactly what we experienced. So, yes it was affecting people, before it was public, many on our ship were sick, I could hear the coughing as I walked down the hallway. I still had breathing problems and felt my lungs had been damaged for four years afterwards.
I was given two antibiotics on the ship which saved me.

It’s easy to say that it would prevent you from dying, but maybe you would not have died otherwise. So many people did not … How can you prove that someone would have died?
