Very slow moving stock. Purchased this stock 500 shares @ Rs.10/ thro' IPO in 1980s, then another 500 @ Rs.10/- thro' rights issue. Sold @ Rs.14/- in 2014 at a profit of only Rs.4/- for holding over 30 years.

You are a complete fool if you look at 1 year return on a stock and cries that you are in a loss. Regularly check the direction of the company. Go through their reports and see what their plan is. India mart is consistently growing in revenues and net profit. In a few years it will cross 9k for sure.

Stocks is obviously a risk. You can earn a-lot depending on a company's performance. You can earn lesser amount of money for a safer long term investment but that too is risky in case company suddenly has to face some problems and they have to declare bankruptcy. So my fear and question is how do people choose which company to invest in for long term without worrying if that company will go bankrupt, And totally dissolve and disappear? For example Chrysler went bankrupt and it was saved by fiat. So it didn't dissolve. Conseco managed to get out of bankruptcy. Etc. So how to be confident to invest in stock without worrying that a company will disappear along with all of your investment? Or is it that companies come back from bankruptcy and more money can be saved?
Just put the money in an index fund, and this risk will be avoided. As companies grow, they take up a larger part of the index. As companies fail, they take up a smaller part of the index. Index funds for life, literally.

Even if you have just rs 20000 to invest you can still do it with any blue chip mid cap or even a small cap. Why going for less than 100. Why. One should only look at the performance of the company and a few other factors. Being less than 100 makes no sense.

But just one thing i want to say as i was a medicial student i thing your team misunderstood one thing about PROPYLENE GLYCOL . As it is used definately in the FOAMS, but foams that include foams in shampoos, detergents, soaps, washing dishes etc and not the foam of cars and leather chairs. Good wishes.

Even manali petrochemicals is a pretty fundamentally strong stock under 100.
Good to brush up chemistry which I did not pursue beyond 10th. If you have added something about diamonds then both organic and inorganic , not growth, but chemistry would have been brushed.
I dont understand why anyone would specifically search for stocks under Rupees 100. What is the logic. Even if you have just rs 20000 to invest you can still do it with any blue chip mid cap or even a small cap. Why going for less than 100. Why. One should only look at the performance of the company and a few other factors. Being less than 100 makes no sense.
Some people have less money and can do less amount of investing via SIP mode.
