My name is Rachel Terry and I write Young Adult and Adult Fantasy, and Adult Historical Mystery. As a fellow soon to be indie author, its exciting seeing you continue on your journey, and real glad to see you're making videos again! Keeping my fingers crossed before I embark on my own self publishing venture this year. As an illustrator and comic artist I drew up and digitally painted my own covers and everything last year for book 1 and 2, that was a lot of fun. Your covers are real fantastic. Hope your 2024 goes well for you and looking forward to reading your work!
Sounds awesome! I can do a little bit of digital art, but I'm nowhere near good enough to do my own covers. I wish I had that kind of skill. I hope everything goes well for you on your publishing journey!
Welcome back, it's good to see your face again. I feel you on the reading more this year. Brandon Sanderson's 5th book in the Stormlight Archive is coming out at the end of the year, so I am rereading the whole Sanderverse in preparation. As you know, some of those books are pretty chonky so it is going to be a challenge.
I am just the opposite of you when it comes it exercising. I get so much more exercise in the winter because I just can't when it's 115 degrees outside in the summer.
Oh yes, the Sanderson books are quite long. Daunting challenge you've set for yourself, but you can do it!
This is a great list! I plan on finishing my debut novel and getting it published (hopefully) this year! Thank you for this encouraging video!
