Incredible top, certainly visiting Mykonos must be crazy, I can't imagine being able to enjoy the attention of any of those hotels, I really liked the Lyo hotel, super paradise beach, it looks incredible.

Santa Marina, Ornos Bay for me the best, with a complex of high class rooms, very comfortable and elegant, with a paradisiacal sea view, great pools, outstanding service and customer service and with an affordable service/cost ratio is the ideal place to spend the summer.
Definitely watch these videos; the places they show leave us enchanted by the beauty of everything. Having the joy of visiting one of these hotels would be a dream come true. Resting and enjoying is the magic that each one offers in their own style. Really beautiful!!!!

We had a very pleasant stay in this human-sized hotel. We had a great view of Korfos bay as well as Chora.
Mykonos is a very beautiful island located in Greece, in itself the environment, being an island, makes it beautiful. Now imagine staying in one of its best hotels, surely it is an unforgettable and unique experience. The Kalesma hotel seemed to me one of the best.

Mykonos is uniquely beautiful in those excellent, pro-grade, very carefully shot and edited videos. It is a true visual pleasure soothing to the soul to watch this footage time and again.
However, the UGLY truth beneath this surface of picturesque and attractive ambience and architecture is that the whole island, once the retreat of preference for international classy celebrities (writers, composers, Nobel prize laureates, painters, opera singers, Hollywood actors) and very-old-money tycoons, is nowadays riddled with sheer lawlessness, tax evasion, drug trafficking, prostitution, money laundering and oligarchs and sheiks that brutally exploit the seasonal Greek workers of the island (waiters, hotel employees, cleaners, cooks, technicians etc) and treat everybody like trash.
The island's villages and country side are way over-built in disregard of all urban laws and limitations, while hotels, villas and restaurants charge go-go exorbitant prices (way above anyone would dare charge in a Caribbean-level island). Mykonos does NOT welcome average tourists (well off or not-so-well-off) anymore. It definitely has stopped attracting celebrities long ago.
It is typically host to ostentatious, nouveau-riche clientele, cruise-ship travelers that visit the island just for a lunch, and young people who can marginally afford to spend one or maybe two nights on the island just to brag to their friends that had been there.
Avoid it at all costs, primarily in the "tourist season" from late April to late September.
Mykonos is just another island in fast, dark, irreversible decay.
