As a born and raised Puerto Rican🇵🇷 of the island, Ive actually eaten at some of the places you named in this video and can say unbiasedly that some of them are not the best restaurants in Puerto Rico. They’re “fancy” but far from the best tasting food I’ve had growing up here. Santaella & Ola Ocean Front Bistro in particular would not be on my list of best restaurants here; their food is well made but not flavorful enough to be seen as some of the best, at least in my humble opinion 🤷🏾‍♂️ PS. Cocina is pronounced “Cosina”, Dulce is “dulse”, and Santurce is “santurse”; just a correction for future reference 👍🏾

None of them have at least 1 Michelin star. PR doesn’t have outstanding chefs that want you to pay overpriced dinners.

Nice vid, but it seems Venice proper isn't overall that large where these hotels are located so I wonder why some are a 30-minute drive and some are an hour or more drive from the airport as you say, and the drive must take you to the nearest boat to the hotel?

The 2:49 dish is fried cod fish not canneloni. That restaurant usually have 3 or 4 dishes with cod .

Top 10 San Juan restaurants taking an Uber, not Puerto Rico’s. We have better, more exotic restaurants with impressive views and blending with the natural environment if you are willing to leave the capital. I agree on Marmadele however excellent. 👌🏽

Co-see-nah is the proper pronunciation of cocina. It’s not Italy. I prefer authentic Puerto Rican foods. I can have steak anywhere in the states.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Just so you know Cocina is pronounced coseena, cochina is a female pig. Criolla is pronounced crioja.

the pronunciation of cocina al fondo is horrible. He said cochina with is not a good adjective in PR.

How about El Conquistador Resort and Hotel?

Number 7 is a dog. A pastiche of cliche decorative elements bundled into an overwrought mess. Number 4 is almost as bad. More pseudo-sophisticated architecture.

Pork and ol trimings in guavate.

Bottles, Morton’s, 1919, and Ariel are excellent choice’s too!

My favorites are Marmalade and Santaella (from your list).👌🏼 There are 2 nice restaurants in the city of Caguas, Bodega and Cazuela! 🍽️ ❤

Nope on these and ATl in general…been here 39 years…just nothing of greatness whatsoever…perhaps Kimball House Decatur?

Seems like being paid to advertise these restaurants because these aren't that budget friendly to the general consumers. There are many great restaurants that are way better and even inexpensive than the ones being advertised in this video
