- I'm coloring Johanna Basford’s coloring book "Small Victories" again! I’ll be sharing some of my coloring shortcuts, and some tips on shadows and lighting. Please join me live and bring your own book if you have one!

A suggestion for your book…maybe add an index of QR codes so we can pull up videos related to some of your pages and the techniques you want to teach. For example, you mentioned a page is designed to help with shadow work but there wasn’t any written instructions. Instead of wasting valuable print real estate on instructions, you can QR code and link videos about various “how tos.”
I've added the new colouring book to my wishlist for when it comes out. :)
I watched this on the replay but it's the 1st video from this channel, that I've watched since I subscribed (probably this year).
And oh em gee, I understand now the use of both markers & water colors because of this video. It really does cut back time and I learned ALOT just seeing a real-time example of coloring a whole page.
Many videos speed up, edits and make short coloring process.
I enjoyed watching this full process in real time. It helped alot. And feeling a bit more comfortable with the process myself.
I was watching the live then had a visitor. I just watched back everything I missed haha.

Really enjoyed it and now I have to try markers and coloured pencils. I didn’t know I could use water based markers for this technique so now I can try with my ohuhu brush pens. Thanks Sarah, I always learn from you and your team. Hope you all feel better soon. 🩵

25:43 - My personal tip is to have the coloring book scanned into a PDF file so you can print off any number of pages many times over without the fear of ruining the actual book.

I've only watched till you've coloured the buildings, and it has such a spooky look with the black windows, I love it! I'm definitely trying this colour palette with this picture. Thankfully I haven't coloured it yet.
Watching the replay and: some of the coloring books I really like and want the room to have "good pages" and "bad pages" I have started buying 2 copies of the book. Then I have one that can be the "bad" one and one that can be the "good one".
Hope your chest does not give you too much trouble Sarah, when I use Ventolin Nebs, they make your hands shacky, it also makes your heart rate increase for a short period. Colouring therapy to help you relax, never thought of that before, when respiratory problems occur.

Hi Sarah - Thank you for thinking about newbies. I just bought your Color Cubes and pencils and am starting to get familiar with coloring. I also wanted to ask if you can share which Tombow markers you used? In the supplies you listed under the video the link goes to Artistro markers not Tombow. Which might be fine, I just don't know what to look for - there are so many sets ie Cottage, Landscape etc. Thank you and I hope everyone feels better soon.
My set is the full set of 90, not one of the smaller packs. Sorry!

Im sorry I missed your live stream, am watching it after the fact. Glad you and your little ones are feeling better. I'm excited about todays live stream because I have this coloring book of Johanna's. You coloring is lovely. I have a crazy question. I'm such a procrastinater. I bought the whole color cube bundle last year and can't find the proof of purchase that points to the interactive color catalog and prismcolor color chart that can be colored in. Can you help me figure out how I can find them? I've been using the color cards by themselves, but I don't think I downloaded anything because I cant figure out where I've put them. There's no hurry. Thank you so much!

After watching this yesterday I decided to get some water based markers but I can't afford tomboy. Is there a video for cheaper water based markers? I have the Ohuhu set :). Hope your feeling better. I had fun yesterday, thanks.
I’ve got a video planned for this year. Ohuhu make both alcohol markers and water based markers.
Honestly, I really like Crayola super tips as a cheap option. They are surprisingly good for the price

Hi Thomas! What are you using the blender for? It absolutely can work on white paper, but are you trying to blend colors together or something else?
No I am in a class with Miss Eileen Vic and she said She doesn’t use a blender pencil because it’s too hard on white paper and I wanted to know if that was true or not? :-)
