Tom Wilson being the worst contract on the Capitals means we have a lot of good contracts. I would’ve picked Dubs just on the fact that it’s a small sample at 8.5
It’s honestly wild how big the discounts the stars on both Florida teams have taken, both have such good cap structure and it’s honestly been a big reason both have been competitive for so long
Palat contract is damn bad, but how about an honorable mention to Kovalchuk. Guy hasnt played in NJ for what feels like several lifetimes & yet the recapture penalty is still hanging on the books for this final season. Crazy
Had to take a look at Pasta's production in the year 2025: 15 games, 14 goals, 14 assists, 28 points, currently on a 10 game point streak in which he's accumulated 23 points. At this rate he's going to lap the field for the Bruins. Boston is 6-9 in this span, with two OT losses. Lindholm: 3g, 6a, 9pts for giggles: Zadorov: 0g, 2a, 2 pts, 39pm
quick note about Wilson (ik you said his contract isn't all that bad) that i think doesn't get discussed enough when talking about his contract is all the intangibles that don't necessarily show up on the stat sheet. Great leader/future captain, plays PP and PK and maybe most importantly - people will pay for his jersey and caps fans are more inclined to want to buy tickets to watch him.
When you can't even decide which of the 4 best contracts on Florida to chose cause they all are great just shows how Zito keeps getting Robbed on the GMOTY award
RE: Colorado, I would go with Landeskog. Even though he is on LTIR, his ongoing will he/won't he comeback attempt is preventing them from making other long-term commitments.
I feel that the Kotkaniemi deal isn't too bad due to the cap going up, and bottom six players like him are gonna get that money eventually. Also, I still think he's a great player for a bottom 6 guy.
We’ve gone back and forth on Seattle’s worst contract. But one guy is top 3 on the team in points and the other is in the AHL. Grubauer was actively losing games, Stephenson’s point totals at least justify the cap hit for this year, but we do agree that the contract will probably age horribly, but until that aging happens and Grubauer is stinking it up, Grubauer is the worst contract.
Why are you infatuated with the negative effect of the bob contract. I mean I’m not trying to sound like a pissed off panther fan (which I am😂) but he’s been to two cup finals, was lights out in one of them, and was good enough to win the second time around. I understand if he’s not been consistent enough to earn the money (which he clearly hasn’t), but he’ll take some sort of pay cut to stay with the team when it’s off the books. Also, with the inevitable rise of the cap in years to come, some goalies are going to make even more than him and not have the same track record like a cup and two vezina trophies. I do think it’s the worst on the team, but there’s just too many steals on the books that it’s hard to find the worst on the panthers 👍😊
Did you watch the full video before dropping that ignorant comment because I literally say Panthers are fine with it because of the playoff success. There HAS to be a worst contract on every team, it doesn't mean every team has a bad/horrible contract.
The fact that the Dubois contract was not mentioned when talking about the capitals is a testament to how well he is playing this year😂
Definitely he's been worth $8.5M this year arguably and is 26!

Yup, South Florida is also an awesome place to live + no state tax
Dissing the GOAT, Logan Stanley is insane. He knows he's worth 100 million, but because he loves Winnipeg, he went for such a cheap contract.
HAHAHAHAAHAHA he's 6'7" what a beast!!!!!
Stanley is the best dman in the western conference, hands down. Jets are ruining his development for not playing him 40+minutes a night!

Yea that's the WOAT deal of the franchise.

AHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA yup he is putting the team on his back.
Marc Bergevin was the general manager (GM) of the Montreal Canadiens when he signed Nick Suzuki to an eight-year contract
My bad! One of rare deals.

HAHAHAHAAHAHHA yup
Off topic but here’s a hot take: if bruins make the playoffs in a divisional spot pasta is a serious hart candidate
I like that take

Just curious; what’s the order to the chaos when you choose teams to talk about? Because I don’t see a pattern lol
I went division by division today!!!
@ But every division was all scrambled up lol
Nurse is having a great year. Not a 9mil year, but probably a 7.5m year.
Yup!
for the sens it always come back to the pierre dorion 8x8s
Good vid
Thank you Shane!
In all my NHL franchise modes I get offered Severson
Leaving the Leafs to the end for the watch time, nice
HAHAAHHA hey at least I went division by division this time.
I’d say utahs worst is crouse he’s been invisible all year hopefully he can turn it around
Very valid
josh norris injured again
not shoulder this time though he took 2 pucks to the groin in 2 games and pulled it i think

Colorado should trade for Ryan Oreilly
Would love love that move
BRANDON HAGEL RESPECT 🐐
Logan stanley making $1.25m too much
HAHAAHAHAA
Pinto is a better deal
Only 2 years tho

You should take it as a compliment. It speaks to how well the Panthers have managed their cap structure.
