He regretted it right after, bc it was already iconic. Then 20 years later at a concert, the coat (or one just like it) floated back up on stage & he wore it the rest of the show. 🤘

Rick comes from my hometown, he and the band he was in called FBI used to practice in my mates tyre fitting garage. One time the singer was to ill to perform so Rick stepped in and was heard by producer Pete Waterman (of Stock, Aitken and Waterman) and signed Rick. The rest is history.
