@@SumanPaulDoc sir,😅 this answer is as satisfactory and safe as it is!!! I understand but i know both exams are good..... Only after knowing the pros and cons of usmle especially,, I am confused coz till now I don't, find any cons about ukmla regarding the job securities and all that stuff!!
Otherwise first in life,, I myself wanted to do usmle but then came to know bout many cons....
So that, s why I am confused!!!
      So please answer only one...
      USA or UK.... Only one!!!

I can't tell you about USA because frankly I dont know. Cons for UK are- low salary, long training duration with service provision component, lesser opportunity of private practice(this is changing slowly). In UK specific FB groups, majority feel USA is far better in terms of pay.

Sir, once I finish my MD medicine in India and complete my MRCP, how long will it take me to enter endocrinology specialty training? Will I have to work in a non training post in the UK for many year before I can apply for the training or can I apply directly from India after finishing my MRCP and getting a GMC registration?
I would really appreciate your answer to this.

    • @SumanPaulDoc

There is no stipulated time for how long you will need to work before training. I would say 6months minimum because that's needed to get alternative core competency form signed.you can apply directly but I don't think you will even reach interview stage.

MD is not required for PACES. But the chances of success are much higher if you have clinical training of some sort. You can never pass PACES but reading books only.

Unfortunately both of these exams are not going to help you at all in your life. SCE is needed if you enter UK CCT training. These exams are only useful to ERS and RCP as they make money from it.
