This is an excellent tutorial! My daughter is handicap and 5 years old now so the cloth diapers I used for her when she was small are getting worn out and the larger special needs sizes cost more. So this makes me excited to make her new diapers myself! Thank you for making the time to make this. God bless you.
El mejor tutorial, el mas detallado y explicado que he visto, me sorprende que tenga pocas vistas. Ojalá sigas creciendo y te agradezco que hayas compartido este video.
Yes I use PUL and microfleece but they can be others that you prefer too. I usually make 5-6 diapers per single cut yards if I have a 3 -4 yard cut I can make about 3 more than usual because there isn't much fabric waste
what do you pur behind the PUL when doing embroidery? do you have some kind to fleece so the material doesn’t get holes or something? I‘d LOVE to embroider diapers but I am SO SCARED the PUL could get holes... 😅
The embroidered layer can't be used by itself because it will leak so I add another cut of PUL to be able to use it as a waterproof diaper. It might seem a bit wasteful but usually I make the tops with leftover PUL or extras that I get from shops. You should give it a try it becomes and addiction if you need any help let me know :)
@@JohanaCaudiGsENG Yes I saw that you use two layers of PUL. I‘d do that as well, definitely... I am just scared that the layer I embroider gets holes from the embroiding - you know what I mean? Not the little stitches but like that it rips... So I was curious if you put some additional layer behind the PUL to stabilise it before the stitching-part starts...
Oh I see what you mean, no I only use tear away stabilizer and heat n bond lite to prevent from moving. I’ve had that issue once when embroidering cotton but it was only because the tension was wrong my machine needed service. Also make sure the designs are not too dense because they might poke holes

Im sorry maybe i missed it. How many diapers does 1 yard make? I do understand we need two different materials to sew together, right?

@@JohanaCaudiGsENG hey! I need the pattern as well🙏
Is the word diaper short for diarrhea soaker upper? 🤔 We call 'em nappies in England but maybe we got it wrong. 😂
I’m not sure 🤔 I mean they are used for messy vowel movements 😅

Hi 👋 you have a video on how to make a cloth diaper with double elastic, do you have the pattern?
Hi! For the cover?
Great tutorial. The diaper looks small even unsnapped, the pattern usually fits up to how many kgs?
Thank you! It should fit children up to 13- 15kg
how much fabric per fabric do you normally need?
I buy by the yard but for a diaper I usually need 20”x21” cut
@@JohanaCaudiGsENG thank you for the info 😄
