Never tried TTC switches but it surely feels amazing! I also slightly lubed my scroll wheel but kind of regret not adding more since the rattle is coming back
I found those silent Kailh switches and ended up putting them in my G PRO X Superlight and MX Master 1. My wife hasn't complained about the noise ever since. :-)
Well the stock mouse feet are scratchy in most pads particularly when they are new. All I can say is that on my current razer strider and on my previous razer gigantus (which is very similar to Logitech g640 and steelseries qcK) the improvement from the new skates was very noticeable and well worth the 10€ I spent
can you please advise better on gpx superlight to put encoder ttc gold or kailh alps? To make the wheel quieter and not have such tactile cutoffs as on a standard encoder
Absolutely! From my experience the superlight is pretty safe from double clicking but if you are sure that yours is suffering from that the problem is entirely switch related, so new switches mean no more double clicking
hey thanks for the video .. my question is whats the best switch you recommend me to buy because i want to buy one but i dont know what to buy ( i have the same mouse )
there is no right switch. It's all 100% personal preference. My advice is to buy two or three like I did and test it out yourself. Some are lighter then other but more then that it's the feel that makes a difference. Plus it gives you alternatives in case you mess up the soldering like I did initially
Maybe? I mean, you can completely replace the scroll wheel rotary encoder for something that is quieter/firmer. It is not more difficult than swapping the switches
Great video my man!
I did the same mod on my superlight but with TTC V1 switches. I also lubed my mouse scroll wheel and encoder for less rattle.

bro the rattle is the best part, this way you know how many scrolls you did and pressing mouse3 finally doesnt triger an accidental mouse wheel
6:28 sounds like a average youtuber experience:)))) we feel ya buddy
kailh 8.0 with band aid mod and superglide
its my endgame for me
What band aid mod? For the side buttons?
@@nunoespinha5757 for left and right click m1 m2
now add the aluminium tape to the main buttons and side buttons and you will eliminate any pre travel
Interesting...never thought of doing that, maybe the next time I replace my mouse skates I will try it :)
Excellent video, just what I was looking for :)
Heyyyy happy to help :)
I have some tips put your solder on 360 c and always use flat tip
Something to think about for the next project! Really great to try something new and soldering has been something I have avoided for years!

I have a superlight myself, i'm thinking of getting better mousefeet maybe it's my mousepad but they're kinda scratchy just like you said.

My superlight experienced double click in the past 2 weeks, will changing the switches fix this problem?
Absolutely! From my experience the superlight is pretty safe from double clicking but if you are sure that yours is suffering from that the problem is entirely switch related, so new switches mean no more double clicking

But what happened to unglued battery?
It's stuck in place with double-sided adhesive, so I simply placed back in its place and has been there ever since
Can you tighten up a loose superlight scroll wheel?
Maybe? I mean, you can completely replace the scroll wheel rotary encoder for something that is quieter/firmer. It is not more difficult than swapping the switches
@@carlosribeiroo thanks for the response 🙏🏽
I choose huano silent
Never used them personally but they definitely sound unique and super different from stock
