Mate take all the time you need. With the knowledge we stand behind you and send our condolences and best wishes to you and your family in this difficult time. All the best from Germany
This is a beautiful way to honor your loved one. It also shows what kind of person you are that in the midst of your grief, you choose to rip open a little piece of your heart and share it with us. Holding you and yours in my thoughts.
I don’t think i’ve ever seen a person with quite the same outlook as you. This is very beautiful and this video, amongst others in your channel, somehow feels so truthful, so much so that i feel like just describing it as ‘truthful’ is reducing in some way. I’m so sorry for your loss, I just wanted to let you know how much peace this video has brought.
Thank you for the video, Simon. I needed this. I thought it nice to let you know that I subscribed to your channel in the tough times of 2020. Ever since, your channel has been a staple of my RUclips expereience. My major was English language and literature, back in college, and I studied linguistics. So your videos have been helping me recall and discover, if new to me, all sorts of linguistic theories and trends. So thank you for all the efforts you exert in making your videos. God bless you, and I pray that my comment can be some kind of a condolence to you.
thank you Simon. That was very big hearted of you to put up that video now when your family is grieving. And thanks for including the squirrel. The red shovel handle must be emblematic. Namaste.
Blessings and comfort to you and yours, and thank you for a lovely, meditative pause in my day. We are all a part of nature’s rhythms. Be well, and feel the care of your community.
Deepest condolences to you and yours. What a beautiful video - the variety of wildlife your garden attracts is lovely and hope it helps lift the spirit a little. I love collared doves, they always remind me of gentile courtesans.
Waiting for the bus today I saw and heard a song thrush. Have them higher up the mountain but not usually here so hope that he finds a mate and can hack the rain forrest climate. Good birding to you
This is such exquisite footage, it should win an award. Thank you very much for uploading this. I'm afraid I didn't see the community post to which you refer, but I nevertheless wish to convey my condolences to you upon the death of "the source of your love for birds", whoever or whatever that may have been.
I don't understand how some people (almost always women, in my experience) can describe birds as "evil" (other than the damn brush turkey of eastern Australia). What could possibly elicit that kind of feeling.
@@amadeus_k2466 Perhaps you have reading difficulties. I said that *** I *** have heard a number of people describe birds as evil. What *YOU* have or haven't heard doesn't make my statement wrong. And I googled it and got my answer ... it is a buybull thing ... I have been in contact with too many religious people.
Thank you, Simon. As the Quakers say, I'm holding you and your family in the light.
Deepest condolences to you Simon.

LOL, wouldn't be a proper bird feeder without some fat squirrel busting into it. 😄
Take care, Simon. You're a credit to them...

Maybe born of fear. Not rational, perhaps, but then fear often isn't.
Sorry, but in 60 years I never heard a woman describe a bird as "evil"
