Lyrics;
Scratching and clawing
These voices fight for my life they’re saying,
“This is who you are: you’re a fake, you’re a sham, you aren’t fooling [no one]”
No one can condemn me for a debt or crime that has been paid off
Nothing divides or separates
Cut me open till it’s all run dry
Kill the life of death that’s in my eye
Open up my aching ribs and crush this stone until it truly lives
This is the peace that starts the war...war
Screaming and growling
These voices fight for their life they’re claiming,
“Help is retreating. You are lost, all alone, with a hope that’s dead and [conquered]”
“Conquered” is the name that’s placed upon the hell that waited for me
Death is dead and loosened its grip
Cut me open till it’s all run dry
Kill the life of death that’s in my eye
Open up my aching ribs and crush this stone until it truly lives
This is the peace that starts the war
My eyes are fixed on the final war
My eyes are fixed on the final war
War
All I see is peace, war
All I see is peace, war
All I see is

These guys are talented! You should definitely check out Confessions of a traitor who just signed with Facedown Records. They just released a couple super Rad singles. They are definitely worth listening too & a featuring on here. God bless!
Thanks dude. I didn't know about this band but listened now. And I really liked it!

Incrivel
This is actually kind of catchy, and usually I don't like these Christian metal bands/songs. I like the idea of superimposing scream-singing and just plan melodic singing over each other. I can't say that I ever remember hearing that before, although I'm sure SOMEBODY has done it. My main point here, though, is to say that why can't metal (like this) just be regular metal instead of "Christian Metal"? It's very difficult to tell the two apart, since the costumes are the same, the songs sound the same, and the visuals are often of fire (as we see here), blood, demons, goat heads, and anything else is scary. After having looked into this a bit, we discovered that there is a clear advantage for the artists who can be bigger fish by way of remaining in a "Christian Metal" category. Once they get noticed, many of them decide to not be Christian anymore on account of the genre or religion, itself, serving as a limitation (to creativity or their lifestyles... whatever). In my opinion, the only reason people see a purpose in having Christian Metal is so that they, as Christians, can get involved in a worldly pursuit (namely metal music) and have an excuse for doing it (saving/reaching fellow Christians). Give me a break, guys... LOL! All it is is that you want to be cool, wear cool clothes, be rock stars/fans, and play whatever music excites you, In order to write lyrics to scary/ intense-sounding songs, you need intense/angry/scary subject matter for the lyrics...otherwise, it would seem weird. You can't take Amy Grant lyrics and make them "hard," because that would sound ridiculous. Therefore... in order to make this work, you need outrage, particularly at how people criticize you for being Christian. Actually, I think the only people who really care that Christians are doing Christian Death Metal are other Christians who are more conservative in their thinking, so this is kind of funny when you think about it: Christians are supposed to show the fruit of the Spirit to the Nations... BUT, this should be even MORESO where fellow Christians are concerned. Hmm... something ain't right here :( HOWEVER, no disrespect to the musicians or their efforts here. Keep in mind though, fellas, that you are making things like misogyny and homophobia seem cool when they're not! Also, things like scaring children with Hell and showing general intolerance for other peoples' viewpoints is not cool either. Don't pretend like it is. Using "rock-n-roll" to sugarcoat feces doesn't sweeten the deal up any, especially when you take a big bite into it. Just sayin'.
So here is a comment made by the singer/guitarist.....
"Most of my life was spent battling these inner struggles in a way that caused me to gain no ground against them," says singer/guitarist Steve Cobucci about the song's lyrics. "I felt that they were totally my burden to bear alone - invisible to all that were around me, yet overwhelming to me in the confines of my mind. It wasn't until I learned to rest in the peace that I could begin to start the war against all the darkness within me."
So where is God in all this psychology/worldly advice? How do the teachings of Yeshua fit into all this? Phil 4:8?
When people calls this satanic in the comments, grab your popcorn and watch.
Tbh i find more "Satanic" the music that some mainstream Rap Trap and Pop artists are doing nowdays they only speak of Sex luxury and a gangsta wannabe attitude also the kind of people who think this is "Satanic" is because they dont analise the lyrics and get immediately scandalized by the screaming thats a very closed minded mentality if you ask me
