The original version is better. Not a bad job though, Great White always were a good cover band.
Great White and Cinderella were excellent bluesy-styled hair bands from the 80s. Great White was one of the bands who had radio hits that went well above 3 or 4 minutes in length.
Cinderella & Great White were the best bluesy rock n roll bands from this era…
Mark Kendall was the reason I picked up a guitar, and bought my Kramer Nightswan lol. Love Great White, absolutely awesome!
I tell everyone "Man, I hate to make comparisons to say if this one is the best or that one is the best because all musicians are unique, but for me Mark Kendall is the best guitarist ever and I listen to A LOT of rock/metal".

Original, yes. Best, not really. The vocals are much better on the Great White version. Similar music.
Great White always cranked out some great cover versions, often of songs not too many people were familiar with. Mark Kendall and Jack Russell could do no wrong for a long stretch. Those were the great old days. This so freakin' rocks! Still.
I sure do miss the 80’s. I was in my 20’s and went to ALOT of concerts and had the time of life. I even saw these guys with Tesla.

what a SUPER BAND!!!!
This is the kind of song that set Great White apart from the other Big Hair rock bands of the 80's for me, the poignant bluesy vibe. Along with other songs like House of Broken Love, these guys put some emotion into it while other contemporary bands were just banging their heads.

@@mitchhaynes1744 A few of their more popular songs are covers, I.E. Once Bitten, etc., but you have to give them credit for choosing bluesy songs to do as covers. Credit to The Angels for making a good one.

Top 5 band of the 80's
I was singing the chorus at work the other day. Dug out from somewhere deep within. Prompted me to watch the video and learn some of the verses. Rock was at its best in the 80s. Nice upload

I wanna say somethin that everyone may not know, this song and “cant shake it” are covers. The originals are from a little band called The Angels (aka Angel City for you yanks). The Angels are from Australia and were made in 1978 and 1980

One of the first 10 hard rock /metal albums I owned. Got hooked on this one for a while. Pure 80s indulgence when you hear it now . The first track blew my mind. The build up, the keyboard, bass, bass drum and then that riff. And if that wasn't enough you get the voice, the silky-smooth rough edge vocals and finally the brilliantly crafted lead guitar and probably the best ending to a pure metal classic.
This one another great track of the album.

Still some metal elements left behind on this album from their 1984 debut that was panned by the record label EMI America who then dropped the band. Great things were definitely in store for these guys as well as some not so great things...
Still, they continue to be masters of their craft.
This was better than I remembered.
What I would do to go back to 1981-89.

Not a bad cover of The Angels.
I seen them open up for AC/DC back in the 80s when I was a little kid in Long Beach ca. They fucking rocked. Then in the early 2000’s I seen them aging in a club in Orange County ca. But they didn’t play any of there stuff. They were paying tribute to Led Zeppelin, under the name Great Zeppelin, and fuck was that a show! Son of a bitch. If you would have closed your eyes you would have believed you were at a Led Zeppelin show. You can find some of that shows music on you tube. Go check it out then get back to me and tell me if I’m wrong…

Mark always dealt with hair loss. all the booze didn’t help with his self esteem about it. i’m just glad he came terms with it and made it his look and still plays guitar as good as always
