The one Mike Chioda moment for me that I will always remember is Judgment Day 2002 and its Hell In A Cell between Triple H and Chris Jericho. Y2J has Hunter in the Walls Of Jericho on top of the cell, and Mike Chioda makes the INCREDIBLY bold decision to climb up to the top of the cell as well and officiate the rest of the match up there, where he could have EASILY fallen off and potentially killed himself with just one misstep.

True story: After a Smackdown in 2002 or 2003, Mike Chioda let me and my two friends into the ring as they were breaking everything down for the night. We ran in, shook the ropes, took a bump, and ran out. Mike was super cool to us.
Edit: It's actually hilarious that most of you guys don't believe me. If you knew more you'd even believe less, so, it just is what it is. Like the one guy said, it was a common occurrence back in the day that if you stuck around after a show and got down to the floor, you could talk to these guys and get into some pretty cool stuff, as long as they trusted you.

    3. Charles Robinson

"Shane had a lot to prove.."
Thats the thing though, he didnt. He didnt have to prove anything to anybody. He's the son of the owner (at the time). He doesnt, not one time, have to ever actually be in the ring. Not one time fall from the top of the titantron, not go throuh one gimmicked table, or through (what was supposed to be) gimmicked glass.
He didnt have to do any of that, while still having a place in that company. Not too dissimilar from his father. But the fact that they DID do that stuff, when they had no obligation to do it, especially from Shane, is the reason I have *always* respected him as a performer. Ive rarely *liked* him, which is a credit to him (and naturally his dad) being able to just easily getting me to hate them... but my respect for him putting himself in spots he never once needed to be in, while learning everything he needed to be as safe for himself and whoever he was working with, as he possibly could while not being a full-time talent, never needed to be proven.

Owen hart wasn’t his son, shane is so of course it’s different. Vince should have stopped the show when the Owen death happened too but it’s different when it’s your son

You're clearly a moron but there's a difference between a wrestler taking more punishment and a show going on after a death. But like I said you're a moronic virgin so why am I wasting my time

@@chris7_uyahshgs981 As I said…priorities. A life is a life. If you really agreed with what I said, then Your second sentence should have stopped at “…..when the Owen death happened”.

The Owen incident happened before this match so it’s possible Vince had learnt from that but doubtful
